Wifi acting slow or keeps loosing connection, anybody having this issue ?

Briefly read the thread but haven't noticed the bug I'm experiencing right now. My camera is freaking out. Seems like something is with autofocus, cause it zooms and blurs and then go back again to normal. Earlier today it was doing it for 2 minutes straight, closing an app didn't help, only a hard reset. Does anyone has this on 7 Plus or other models?
I didn't drop or damage the phone.

I do, that and Bluetooth playback! I consistently lose connection and forgetting/connecting again does NOT resolve the issue. I've reported this to Apple numerous times but still no fix.

After initialling commenting on how stable I think his release is, i’m going to backtrack and say that there is still quite a few bugs and issues that I’m hoping are fixed in an updated GM build. Nothing major but just a few glitches and UI issues here and there. Also, I’ve just switched to Apple Music and is it jsut me who thinks the UI stutters a lot?

One thing to check is if you have dust or dirt on the lens. That could be causing the issue as it won't know where to focus.

Apple needs to make this turning off WiFi from control center smarter. I have to toggle it like five times a day or turn off WiFi completely.

Just think, you’re home and on your WiFi. Then you decide to ride to work. As you’re riding your phone keeps connecting to public WiFi and most is either very slow or not working. And yes you did save most of them some time ago when limited data was a thing. So you decide to disable auto join and not WiFi completely because location services uses it. Few minutes later the music you’re streaming stops. Guess why? WiFi enabled auto join again and connected to another slow WiFi. Repeat the process through the day until you get fed up and just turn WiFi off.

I wish iOS had WiFi scanning like on Android instead.

iOS 11 otherwise is more annoying on the phone vs my iPad Pro which has had zero issues. Not even a respring. It’s hard to believe this is the same build.

Update on this issue.

I finally figured it out. I restored in iTunes and set up the phone as new. I then loaded my apps. Charged phone before bed. This morning, connected to internet and no battery drainage. Showing at 100%.

Something in iTunes and iCloud backups must have been bad, because I tried doing both of those.
How is now? Any stuttering? Still have stable battery?

I think this could be charger related but has anyone else felt charging times are significantly longer or slower charging rates?

Has stable battery and working real well.

Still needs to be smoothed out with future updates. I’m real pleased with it and have no intention going back to iOS 10.
It just sucks for those who have games that don't sync with iCloud and have to lose all their progress and currency

Control panel does not turn off wifi (or BT) completely anymore by design. Its meant to be a disconnect from the currently connected wifi. If you want it off you do so in settings. Also not following you on automatically connecting to every public wifi you pass by. You have to OK it first. It doesn't just connect automatically to every wifi it detects.

I hope that Apple brings back the frosted look of Notification Center from iOS 10, because I'm not a fan of the current implementation of Notification Center, especially when you have no notifications.

Today I made an interesting experience.

I updated to iOS 11 GM on Friday. Last night I set my alarm for today (Monday) to 6 am and put my phone into silent mode by using the silent switcher on the left of my iPhone 7 Plus.

When I woke up by myself this morning (ca. 8 am) I realized, that obviously the alarm clock in iOS 11 is automatically silent too when the phone is put into silent mode.

Has anyone else noticed this (bug) feature?

Not sure that's a bug. "Silent" means silent.

Wait what I don’t think this is true silent and alarm it’s a completely different thing
Edit: alarm still sounded with phone in silent

By “silent mode” I mean the mechanical switch on the left side of an iPhone. And I can reproduce it. The alarm definitely doesn’t override silent mode anymore...it did that since iOS 5 though I think

Definitely works properly for me and has throughout the betas. Mute switch toggled on side of phone and alarm plays at full volume. You sure your alarm volume was turned up? Maybe you were connected to a Bluetooth device and the sound was trying to play through that?
[doublepost=1505769191][/doublepost]Just had my 7 become completely unresponsive to all input except gestures. Could not tap on anything and even holding the power button would not evoke the power down screen. Strangely, I could slide up for control center and down for Notification Center. Hard reset was required.
