Although this might be old, but I'm not liking this Ive-fication to the extent of reduced at-a-glance functionality. Last I checked, and it's been a long time, AM and PM used to be visibly different - AM was not black for sure.

Except for a change in the icons on the bottom of the app, the Clock app looks exactly the same to me between iOS 10 and iOS 11.

After updating to iOS11, I noted under Settings/General/Accessibility/Home Button/Voice Dial Only/Language, that all the voices were blanked out save for one check mark. I remember there being a lot more. Perhaps a software bug, or just a setting I haven't toggled on?

When I tried to change the picture format on my SE & 6S, the option to change the format seems unavailable. The same is there on the 7. Has it been left out intentionally?
First is the SE and 2nd is the 7

Indeed, hence I said long ago. I really liked it - black and white for night and day differences when I needed to use it last.

My recent apps section of dock hasn’t worked correctly since updating to the GM. Upon displaying the dock the recent apps section will show the last three apps; however, one immediately disappears and only two remain. If I turn the setting off and then back on it will show the most recent app and a blank space. If I turn the setting off, a blank space remains.

Anyone else?

Performance and battery life are still wrecked 10 days since updating. The new beta can’t come fast enough. Honestly the 7 Plus should not have an iota of stutter in the OS.

Can anyone do the following test on an iPad running iOS 11:
  • Start a FaceTime Video call and put it into PiP
    • Alternatively (though less reliable), watch a video from Videos.app (or possibly some other source) in PiP
  • Open/return to Notes.app and try scrolling through the list of notes
    • Potentially, at least one of the notes needs to have an attachment that results in a thumbnail in the notes list
From my experience, on a newly setup iPad Pro 10.5, the above results in Notes.app either hanging or crashing most of the time.

My 6s+ Bluetooth Icon always looks illuminated like its connected to something but when I check all my Bluetooth its not connected to anything, is this the new normal?

anyone swipe to go back lag or stutter? doesn't matter where, facebook, twitter, settings, safari. all swipe to go back is lagging for me. not smooth like it was before at all.

Neither of those threads you linked answer his question.

Yes, that is the new normal. The dark bluetooth icon now indicates that Bluetooth is on. When it’s connected to something, it will change to headphones or other icon that corresponds to what it’s connected to.

Just updated my 6S + an hour ago - updated using iTunes no resets or anything and so far phone is working fine - no complaints so far

Thanks!!

The iPhone 7 and 7+ can take HEIF photos as well and hey have the A9 chip. I can set the high efficiency format on my 7 Plus.
The 7 Plus has A10 fusion. The 6s and lower don't benefit from lower storage size format.

That is your experience and certainly not mine. My iPhone 7 Plus is running iOS 11 perfectly with great performance, fluid, smooth and stellar battery life. You either have a wonky iPhone or some rogue darknet app killing your iPhone. Perhaps it's time to try an alternative platform?
