Holy moly! The animations are much, much better. After opening an app, double clicking into app switcher and that app doesn’t refresh any longer. Things are moving much quicker as well. Phone feels much more solid. Good job by Apple.

This is how the GM should've felt. But, for a X.X update, I have not noticed any "wow" changes or improvements. Animations were slightly increased speed wise. Big deal. I still think iOS 11 is basically iOS 10.4.

For me, it’s a big deal.

I think we all have a level of sensitivity to animations. Some more than others. Very happy with this release. Hopefully things improve.

Very disappointed with 11.1. Still not messages in iCloud and none of my previous bugs are fixed plus I have new bugs in smart invert colours like colours are now inverted in control center when you select options.

Hard restart on my 7+ gave me the portrait cc problem, 4k video lag (if you start recording it ends) and Portrait lag.
Also, if you restart and input your password, the open animation will go only half opening then the lock screen turns over 90 degrees, it lags and then take you to normal home screen.

- All apps that smooth end scrolling up animation.

How about the App Store icon change in iMessage?

Have you tried closing all apps in the appswitcher and clear RAM by pressing power when you see slide to turn off but hold down home button till it disappears. Relaunch apps and see if any app icons dim.

Im getting this flash blue keyboard on Instagram, and it happens every time you open the app from home screen, or type the first time.

Clicking on it, make it go away, some times thru the day it will return or when restarting the phone.

An old behavior, once fixed, has now returned. Even when the phone is in silent mode, tapping the keyboard mic icon for Siri dictation plays the chime sound. Jarring when you tap the icon accidentally in a circumstance when you are trying to be quiet.

Just installed this today and I don’t like it. It’s glitchy on my iPad Pro.

And I hate the slide over doesn’t work the same anymore. Or I don’t know how without putting all the apps in the dock, which I don’t want to do cause I don’t like the looks of it. What can I do about that?

I got the iPhone X “home button” on my call in progress screen in the Phone app. Tried to do something with it, but it was unresponsive. Did not return on the next call.

You win Apple's secret contest for a free iPhone X!

:D
[doublepost=1506564299][/doublepost]I predict that iOS 11 is going to not make people very happy since the interface is divided between the X and the peasant phones.

I was able to get the reachability bug to disappear by tapping for reachability, dragging the screen left to right by a small bit. the app icons then disappear behind the dock as they should. further attempts to tap for reachability behave normally thereafter. haven't tried a reboot to see if it comes back though. but after locking the screen and going back to test, it stays normal.

I am really liking that new tap to scroll to top animation. So smooth... just imagine it on a device with ProMotion...

That's Apple telling you not to shoot in portrait mode! :D
After they spend all that time talking about the new Portrait Mode settings lol :p

Anyone notice the Clown emoji has been moved. Like I noticed my emojis were off centered. And it bugged me till I noticed it side by side to iOS 11.0.1
