iOS 11.1 Beta 1 Bug Fixes, Changes and Improvements

as long as I'm back to 11.0.1 im fine. the battery issues and heating issues are killing me. Will wait for the final release in october
 
I was a beta tester when 11 was in the beta stage (but I had to back out of it by going to the Apple store--it was crashing constantly and I couldn't put up with it). I was allowed to upgrade to 11 before the general release because I still had the beta profile on my 6S. Now I have the 8 but no longer have the beta profile. When I have tried to get the profile back, I enter my apple ID and password but get a whole explanation of the beta testing, but no where to actually allow the profile to be added to my phone. I would like to get it back (all is forgiven lol). Can someone steer me in the right direction? Thanks so much!

quite a few bugs on this one, would stay clear of it if i was with you. Even beta 1 of iOS 11 wasn't that bad for me

Running great here. In my opinion, best build of iOS 11 on my devices.

Working fine in portrait mode. After seeing your post, I tested it yesterday.

Exactly what does it do on your 7 Plus? Could be I’m missing something.

It hasn’t been tied to the Profile is quite some time now. The Feedback app is tied to the actual beta install.
 
Anyone else having touch ID issues? Its so inconsistent. Sometimes its instant and other times nothing happens for 4 seconds and I have to put my finger on again. (7+)

Everything is so sluggish. Apple ruined a perfectly good 7 Plus. The animations ruin everything including that home button delay. The iPhone 8 is also losing to the Note 8. Atrocious optimisation. WOrse than any past Android I have used.

Are you on 11.1? Animations are faster, but home button lag still there. I think 11.2 will fix that.

I don't think they will "fix" it. I believe they chose to have the timing match all iPhones to behavior of the physical home button phones. The majority of people don't even notice it or care. Sucks for us people on 10.3.3 (with capacitive HB) who do care and notice how much it slows down the feel of the device. People with the 8 don't know what they are missing! Well unless they used a 7 with iOS 10.3.3.

Match the timing? IOS 10.3 on a 6S closes apps just as fast as a 7 on 10.3

We will see once this beta is done or 11.2 or 11.3 whether Apple will fix it or leave it.
