Because I'm visually impaired. I always used invert colours in the past so smart invert was a great new option for me but its basically not very useful (it dont work on safari and almost any 3rd party apps and even some Apple ones)
Please don't get offended or anything or don t take it as an insulte, joke but... but what visual impairment do you have that requires such a bugged down feature as smart invert or just the regular invert?

Calculator input lag persists - how is everyone reproducing this? I installed iOS 11.1 beta 4 last night from iOS 10.3.3 and no matter how fast I type in the calculator, I cannot reproduce the issue.

All this mention of the home button has made me notice and reflect on it. I don’t like it. Now I’ll notice it every time

For what it’s worth I don’t think for a second that Tim would pass up a chance to influence an upgrade. And that’s a very irritating thought (and yes.. they’re allowed to do it. That doesn’t make it ok)
11.2 is our second last hope. If its not fixed on 11.3, it wont ever be fixed. Its done on purpose imo.

Maybe (unlikely) they made an aesthetic choice for when people double press rather than single press... but they should just have the animation for one press be interrupted.

It’s definitely intentional. There’s no delay when you tap something on the screen. Poor form apple

I'm liking this so far. 7+

Still not fixed the CC transparency issue. I’ve had this since before the GM release of iOS 11 on my Air 2

That's weird. My Air 2 on 11.1 Beta 4 doesn't look like that - open the CC and the screen behind is a very faint blur, no transparency. Is there a transparency setting of any sort?

So your implication is that it’s impossible to have a stellar iOS 11 experience just because you haven’t? I don’t think I’m the only one on this forum claiming satisfaction with iOS 11 across a variety of devices. It’s simply exhausting to read the same complaints over and over again with no proof. It really detracts from the value of forums like these. So I will reiterate it one more time for your benefit. I am thoroughly pleased with iOS 11 at this point and look forward to continued optimization in the releases to come.
OK I understand. I get it. You love iOS 11 and have no problems. You have said that over and over and over. Thats great. Glad you are and have been. Not getting where you keep thinking I have complained about it over and over though. I have not. Anyway nuf said on this simple jesting post I made. It was never meant to cause you to get upset. It was all in fun. But its getting way over blown and derailing this thread. Anyway enjoy your iDevices and like you I hope to see further optimization going forward.

It’s on a high compression/ low quality when I uploaded it. Didn’t need to be high res to show animation.

Edit. It looks perfectly fine when playing it back on the phone.

So it’s fine on iPhone 8 but not on a 7 Plus? That’s weird!

Where is good to upload short videos because MR doesn’t accept them as attachments?

Just try 1+2+3 rather quickly. It will show as 1+2+23. Its like the second press of the plus never registers. Happens on every iOS 11.0 version so far from beta 1-10 up through 11.1 beta 4. If you go slower it works as expected.

I still have this persistent bug where the icons get squished together like when you activate a personal hotspot and the status bar gets thicker. If you swipe it goes back to normal but it’s so persistent that if you go to the home page you know that there’s a 50% the icons will look like that. Other than this bug I’ve had no other problems with iOS 11.1.

Can you explain what you mean here?
You can request a statement from Apple for all your transactions related to your Apple Pay Cash Card. It wasn’t working before, I’d get a failure error. Now it seems to be working, i got my statement in my email.

Or Apple has determined that most users are not affected by this. After reflecting on this for a while with my 5s, 6s and 7 I've determined, I personally don't have an issue with this. (And it could be my idevices don't exhibit the symptom of this "bug")

Don’t have an issue or don’t mind that there is a delay?

It seems intentional. And I don’t see how any software delay, intentional or not, could be viewed in a positive light.

Uh yeah. That’s bizarre. What a stupid thing to miss. The calculator is completely broken now that I’m testing it more. Looks like I’ll need another calculator app until it’s fixed.
