Does anyone have issues updating OpenTable, Zomato, and Yelp in iOS 11? Ever time there is an app update, the installation freezes and I have to reboot for the install to complete. It just so happens that these apps also integrate with Apple Maps.
Yes!! This makes no sense to me, and none of the app reviews mention it.

I wasn't able to update PB5 on both my iPhone 7+ and iPad Pro 10.5. The download was completed and it went through the verifying process, then installed and rebooted. However, after rebooting the it still indicates software update to PB5...
I tried to reboot and update again but the problem still exists.

Same on iPhone SE (build stays with one ending with 92 after reboot and message saying updated to 11.1 and then notifies me again update available over & over)

and also with AppleTV (not newest one) haven’t checked build number yet but keeps happening.

Download a third party app already bro!!!
Hard to believe that the answer to Apples unwillingness to fix their own calculator app is to rely on their 3rd party developers to build one that actually works. If that's the solution, why wouldn't they just remove the app from iPhone iOS like the iPad and make anyone who wants a working calculator just download one from one of their 3rd party developers? If they opt to include one with iOS then it should work.

It is perfectly reasonable to ask if a bug has been fixed (which has happened in literally every "bug fixes, changes and improvements" thread since it started), which is what the home button delay/lag posts are asking. Nice attempt at trying to sound like you know what you're talking about though.

FWIW, I'm still on iOS 10; I'm just posting here on behalf of iOS 11 users who notice these kinds of bugs because I'm tired of people dismissing legitimate issues just because they don't notice them themselves.
The point you missed here is the same guy asks every release, 15-20 people respond and say its fixed or better then he states it isn't. So therefore probably better if he just tested himself because clearly others cant tell what is acceptable to him or his needs. That is what the initial comment was in reference to.

so.. the lockscreen disappearing bug is back with a vengeance in this beta. it wasn't this bad on beta 4, but I've had it bug out on me twice within a couple hours.

Same issue here ‍♂️

Doesn’t seem to be installing on my iPad Pro (2015, iOS 11.1pb4) either. The OTA package for pb5 downloads and I select the option to install, but it just does a normal reboot instead of an update-boot. There are also no loading bars or anything during the boot process, so it looks like nothing is being installed at all. The OTA package is deleted in the process, so subsequent attempts will require redownloading (not that it’s a big deal - it’s about 32MB). Will probably try a full IPSW install via iTunes later.

Edit:
Not sure if the same will happen on my iPhone 7, but something else strange also happened. When prompted to enter my passcode before downloading the update, it says “1 failed attempt” even though I haven’t made any attempts to enter my passcode.

Edit 2:
Identical situation on iPhone 7. Instead of entering update mode, it just does a normal reboot then deletes the update package without installing it.

When I try to install this on my iPhone 7 the phones goes throug the verifying update chek, powers down, boots to apple logo without loading bar and after 3-5 seconds shuts down and boots to normal logo again. After few seconds it's back to lock screen as if i havent even downloaded the update I can download it again.

Instead of updating it does a dual reboot. I tried rebooting phone before starting the update process.

Anyone else have this?

Looks like I'm not alone :p (posted at the same time lol)

I wonder if it works for some as they never updated to the last update that was the full 2gb+ update. So it may just be the delta update is causing the issue.

If they were updating from PB3 to PB5 then it's probably downloading the full 2gb+ update and that works ok.

Worked for me on Air 2 going from 4 to 5.

Edit: Public Beta, OTA.

Nope, my 6s was on Public Beta 4.

Just trying nuking the Beta Profile, rebooting, checking for update, re-installing the beta profile and trying again (failing that, I'll do a reset and then upgrade).
Edit: On my iPad Air 2 that also won't update. The 6s updated fine.

There’s no way to update the public beta version from iTunes using ipsw right? Or can we just download the dev beta ipsw and do it?

It sounds like the update isn’t being signed. Which is bizarre as it’s the same as the dev. Any devs having install problems? Maybe it’s a profile issue? Something is definitely wrong.

Just downloaded the full 11.1 PB5 IPSW file so I will try updating using that via iTunes.
