Serious question - worth upgrading to this beta on an iPhone X? Or not worth the hassle for whatever this small beta provides?

Can someone please tell me if the email notification bug is fixed for iPhone X in this beta? It’s still present in 11.2.1. Email notifications vanish when moving to the Earlier Today (history) section.

This is my main question as well!

We won’t get iCloud iMessage until iOS 11.3. 11.2.5 seems to be slightly faster but in upcoming 2018 I think Apple will stand up and push a really polished software

It's nicely polished. Ever so slightly more fluid and makes for an enjoyable experience on both iPhone 7 and 5s.

Really stupid bug that’s been around forever - doesn’t matter at all, but it’s there.

If you swipe over to the widget screen, then swipe back to the home screen and swipe from mid-screen to get to the Siri-recommended apps, the microphone icon on the on-screen keyboard isn’t filled in.

However, the next time you swipe down from mid-screen to access the Siri apps, the microphone icon will be filled in.

It’s 11.2.5 because Apple is quickly getting to x.3.3. Last years max.
They were on iOS 10.2 already last year at this time.

Just updated. Battery life is horrible. Draining 1% a minute. What the hell did they do?
Having been around many updates people really know that something like battery usage isn't something to really judge until a few cycles and a few days after an update.

What App is that?

Also I wouldn’t pay much attention to it. Mine reports correctly. You may be lucky though and have a bigger battery.

None of the apps on the device itself would report much accurately when it comes to battery life as Apple stopped providing that information in iOS itself since iOS 10.

I’d say worth it since OTA updates are hardly a hassle.
At the same time, the potential change between beta and non-beta can be for some (especially if they might experience some issues or wish to go back for some reason).

Apple seems to think battery life is great on my 7 Plus with 7 hours usage. Just received a response from them.

Hopefully you are following up to ask them what their expectation is of battery life for your model, compared to what they list it as and what similar devices are seeing in comparison.
