I have iOS 10.3.3 on my 7 it's worthing to upgrade to this version ?
Plenty of people are having a variety of experiences. Hard to tell what it will be like for you. Ultimately you'd have to make a call based on how happy you are with what you have now, if there's anything in iOS 11 that you might need or want (even if it might simply be security updates), and anything else of that sort.

Hmm , it's fluid ? It'a fast ?

Just noticed this. While using WAZE on my ipx was having a lot of issues finding me. Have been having navigation issues using Waze and apple maps. rebooted my phone hopefully its just that. Wasn't sure if anyone else had any nav issues.

I use Waze daily as Apple Maps doesn’t work in the country I live in. Even though you can see everything it doesn’t let you navigate.

Anyway no issues with Waze for me.

Two bugs that I’ve noticed since updating to 11.2.5

1. When in a call, I am not able to close apps in the app switcher menu.

2. While receiving an incoming call, the audio would switch to a softer tone while I was looking at the screen. This was finally working for me again in 11.2, but now is not functioning properly in this latest beta.

Running on iPhone 10

If you are talking about the iPhone X, I believe the first item has been there all along basically. And the second item, you are saying that the ringer isn't becoming softer when you pick up the phone and start looking at it?

Does anyone still have any issues with text message notifications banner appearing maybe 5 to 7 seconds after the actual message comes in?

I’m wondering now if I’d see any benefit moving back in the beta track? Went back on public this morning to get 11.2.1 and now considering going beta again and installing 11.2.5 lol

Decisions decisions!

Yes, that is correct.

For the first issue, it does not really bother me as much, except for when my dad calls me and is able to talk for hours on the phone, while there are additional apps open in the background eating up my battery lol

In most cases that shouldn't be happening with apps, although there are times when some apps have been known to do that kind of thing. Seems like something that Apple would need to tweak in an update as far as having that working while a call is active.

Can someone with an X test the attention awareness, get someone to call you and look at the phone the ringtone should reduce in volume.

Haven’t had any issues with delayed notification banners myself.

So you are able to close your apps while in an active call?

I don’t really make calls, but it works normally with the alarm. My alarm was going off at full blast today, and when I grabbed the phone and looked at it the alarm volume softened.

This is interesting. I remember reading somewhere earlier in this forum that an individual’s phone did not notify them of their reminders when it was set to a ringtone. Seems my issue may be that I’m using a created ringtone for incoming calls

Alarm hasn't been bugged before but calls has, it was broken in one of the 11.2 beta's and fixed for 11.2 release, but comments in this thread make me think they broke it again.

Was thinking a reboot of my device would fix this issue, but I've had the problem since before the official 11.2 update. Thinking about possibly rolling back to 11.2 though, as the build was extremely stable for me. I haven't really noticed a speed increase with this latest beta that others are seeing currently. Seems pretty much the same as it was before I updated.

I feel like the operating system is a lot more fluid and polished

Not trying to be a Johnson, but for everybody reporting about the Weather app not updating: why not install a third-party solution and monitor progress on a fix in the meantime?
Isn't this case for many of the issues that are not weather related? I mean others could install apps that provide alarm functionality (for those in this thread complaining about their iOS alarms not triggering) or install another music app (for those complaining about Apple Music issues), no?

One could go on and on with this logic.

That new music note icon looks a lot like the note in the Bose Soundtouch app, which is what the original poster was connected to, so I wonder if that app provided the icon?

I’m thinking you are right. Wasn’t able to reproduce it with any of my music apps.
