That new music note icon looks a lot like the note in the Bose Soundtouch app, which is what the original poster was connected to, so I wonder if that app provided the icon?

Lost the quote from the post I was replying to: regarding the icon shown in the lock screen music player when no album artwork is found.

My iPhone X no longer reduces the volume of the ringing tone of incoming calls when I look at the display.

Anyone else with the same problem?

Two bugs that I’ve noticed since updating to 11.2.5

1. When in a call, I am not able to close apps in the app switcher menu.

2. While receiving an incoming call, the audio would switch to a softer tone while I was looking at the screen. This was finally working for me again in 11.2, but now is not functioning properly in this latest beta.

Running on iPhone 10

I don’t experience any of these. I did remember I had 1 after updating. You need to restart your iPhone and then you’ll be able to close apps while in a call.

Is that using iPhone X? Various people have reported that with prior iOS 11 versions as well.

Isn't this case for many of the issues that are not weather related? I mean others could install apps that provide alarm functionality (for those in this thread complaining about their iOS alarms not triggering) or install another music app (for those complaining about Apple Music issues), no?

One could go on and on with this logic.

True, although this seems to be one of the most prevalent issues of late. People could really save themselves some heartache on this. Besides, I think there are clearly better alternatives in the App Store relating to weather.

I wonder if it might matter if you are on speakerphone vs. bluetooth vs. headphones or something like that.

I don’t think it matters since I tried on and off speaker and same result. Are you still experiencing it? Tried turning off the device?

Mostly going by some threads that have brought it up recently (and the report by someone in this thread):

Best new feature :

When face id fails, & passcode screen comes up, face id now tries again while password screen is up.

Previously you had to swipe out of password screen to get faceid to try again.

This is awesome since faceid constantly, like 30 times a day, fails for me lol

Or maybe thats not new.

My bro is still on 11.2 & it works like that too.

I swear mine wasnt on 11.2

Email notifications still not working correctly.

When having multiple email notifications, the first one vanishes when they go to the Earlier Today (history) section. You then have one less notification compared to emails.

This happens on iPhone X and iPad 9.7 pro.
I believe it had been fixed on on iPad but it's back in 11.2.5.

When the passcode comes up it’s not scanning for me. It forces me to type it in

Make sure youre not trying after a reboot or restart.

To test , holdohone flat, swipe up to bring up passcode, tilt phone so face id sees your face. Faceid should work then

I've got a case open for the weather widget issue and suspect it will be fixed in due time.

We won’t get iCloud iMessage until iOS 11.3. 11.2.5 seems to be slightly faster but in upcoming 2018 I think Apple will stand up and push a really polished software

I don’t think we will get iCloud messages until iOS 12.. similar to how read receipts was suppose to be per contact option in iOS 10. But we didn’t get it until iOS 11
