Sorry for not reading the whole thread but is anyone else having issues getting the update to install? Worked perfectly on my phone but my iPad mini 4 (on 11.1 beta) won't update. Downloads the update and then when it's verifying it, I get an error saying not connected to internet. Deleted the update and reinstalled and different network and nothing. Did a restart and hard restart and nothing. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem yesterday. Once I got home I turned off wifi on my phone and turned it back on and it loaded. Not sure if that's what fixed it, but it did eventually load.

I tried that as well. I turned off the wifi and turned it back on. Then turned it off and turned cellular on. I'll try again when I get back to my boyfriend's house since he has amazingly fast wifi

Beta 2 greatly improved my battery life on iPhone 7. It runs smoothly.

However I have a problem, Apple Health shows ridiculously high number of flights climbed, it shows like 150 flights while it should be 4 or 5. I was with a friend all day (he's on 11.1), we walked a lot, our number of steps taken are almost the same, his number of flights are OK but mine is skyrocketed. Our barometer readings are almost identical. So it is possible that it's a software issue. I cannot find a solution on the internet, should I try a clean installation?

thanks for the reply, tried it didn't change anything. In iTunes my "other" is reasonable at 2GB but my documents and data is at 4GB... thinking that maybe there is a bad backup somewhere...
[doublepost=1510174203][/doublepost]Just happened with Beta2, the Notes app has used 700MB of my data without me even using it when out of wifi

Curious, what's the improvement that you are noticing in terms of battery life on your iPhone 7?

After updating to 11.2 Beta 2 I am noticing that my music will automatically start playing when I connect to a bluetooth audio source. Is this new? Is there a way to turn this off?

I was seeing 4.5-5 hours of usage. Today I saw a solid 7 hours of usage (even after some percentage drained overnight).

That's definitely an improvement. I've been getting between 6.5 and 7.5 hours of usage (with 16 to 20 hours of standby) on my 7 with iOS 11.0 and 11.1 so far most of the time (although there are days when it can be a bit less with heavier use). I'll have to see if that improves once iOS 11.2 is released.

That's been a "bug" for a lot of us for a long time. One guy even got rich this summer by posting a "song" on itunes with no sound and naming it "Aaaaaaaaa very good song" so it will be the first thing that comes up and you are not assaulted with "instant music" when you get in the car.

Anyone been having freezing in the official reddit app? Especially when scrolling through some gifs that auto-play. Locks up the phone for a few seconds. Didn’t happen to me on beta 1.

So was the “sometimes missing notifications” already discussed/mentioned? iP 7 here in this Beta 2 and I rarely now get notifications from any app.. haven’t changed anything, same settings.. For example I sometimes get a message in facebook messenger and it doesn’t play sound nor drop down from the top when using the phone

Same here, I believe this is was "delayed notifications" means, my phone get a notification from any app and only the badge shows, but the actual sounds come minutes later, sometimes even 30 minutes later and all of the notification I haven't seen arrives, it's basically making iPhone useless for important things, because of the missing notifications

You haven’t linked it to restarts at all?
Ok I think I see what the deal is now. I have not restarted since this discussion and no update all. However I have been opening apps store and check for updates and they appear and no menu item. However today I didn't check for updates and when the notification badge came up on app store icon on its own, I had the update all menu item. So I am thinking it appears when app store checks for updates and you get the notification badge automatically that's when it appears. At least that seems to be the case for me.

I wish  Pay and  Pay Cash for sending money was in my country :(, but you can do the configuration process with any information, even the address does not give and error being from other country, I stopped when it asked for the ss photo.
*Hope that with the new nfc adoption here by banks, Apple Pay will enter soon.
[doublepost=1510186701][/doublepost]Also, seeing lag in some apps like Snapchat in my 7+ and other, and sometimes even in the home page, also in the keyboard, again :/.

Without reading 13 pages how is Beta2 on X?
Not bad.

I've enrolled in the iOS beta in the hopes that it resolves my main infuriating issue is that it doesn't connect to my car via USB. ios10 on my iPhone 7 plus had literally 0 issues connecting as soon as i upgraded to ios 11 it won't connect. It eventually comes up connection error doesn't matter if i use Apple Music or Spotify, official apple cables or not nothing will make this work.

My car has Bluetooth but quite frankly the quality is like 1980s radio its not worth using. It worked in 10 I really hope they fix it, annoyingly I can't see any mention of it at all in any of the updates and i have only owned the car several months. Anyone got any ideas? (No I cannot get the firmware updated in the car its not that fancy but it should still work like it did before)
Apple : It's your car manufactorer fault
Car manufactorer : apple bug

No ideas, only frustration...im on the same boat :(

However solutions are two :
1) Change car
2) Swap to Android

I don’t know if same thing or not, but when I plug mine up to my CarPlay via USB it starts where I last left off. Did this for me on iOS 10 so this part isn’t new, not sure about BT
