I just noticed, there’s a bug with the location dot in maps. The arrow that shows which direction you’re facing is very glitchy.

I'm having some serious springboard crashes on my iPhone X for some unknown reason which started as of this morning, i had the iphone X since day one, i heard its a bug n 11.1, Should i install the 11.2 Beta to fix it?

YMMV, but with that said, I have ZERO issues on my 7+... and despite several regular whingers, my battery is solid, as well.

Hope so. I’m all good on mine, my girlfriend’s 6s is running well too but I do have a friend with a 6 who doesn’t run beta and is struggling with performance a bit. 11.2 should help.

Doubtful that there will be a "GM"... but the release dates that I've seen for 11.2 are 12/4 and 12/5.

I hope not. 11.2 so far has been the second worst version we’ve had. 11.0 was a turkey from the get go. 11.1 smooth as butter on my devices. 11.2 a step back in most ways. Lots of screen lags, my Kindle app crashes consistently. Screen flickers. I did have one issue, present from late beta versions of 11.0, finally fixed but several others were created. This turkey was ready for basting on Thanksgiving. Haven’t had any battery issues. This has been on my 8 Plus and 2017 iPad Pro. I’d say we need 2 more versions before the basting is finished.

All of iOS 11 except .1 has been really bad I just want to get a stable version on my devices and get off any betas.

By an large, iOS 11 Public Beta 4 has been good on my X, but I too have had some random app freezes. Good battery life, and I hope that the random app freezes will sort themselves out like I have experienced on other beta’s. Looking forward to Public Beta 5...

I have been on 11.1 Beta 5,been great on batt life,a few random reboots but other than that....I have been debating on 11.1.2 beta!

Mofo, I think you are a little confused. 11.2 is the beta now, and there’s only beta 4 unless you know something I don’t.

That is not bad battery life. Your expectations are totally messed up.

15 hours standby time is more than enough time OFF the charger to get through a day. For example say you take it off the charger at 6am. 15 hours since the last charge puts that at 9pm, with 19% battery left. Which could easily last until midnight with some use. That’s pretty much a full day. You’re confusing time since last on a charger vs actual on screen usage time. You’ll never get 15+ hours of on screen usage time.

Your expectations are off, not the battery life.

My expectations are not off because my phone lasted one full working day on iOS 10. It doesn't on ios 11.

You’ve mentioned taking your phone off the charger at 6am. You’ve posted screenshots with 15+ hours standby with 17% remaining. That’s 9pm with more to go. A full work day is over 15 hours (closer to 17 or so hours once you get through the remaining 17%)

You’re not realizing that standby time IS the time it’s been off the charger, and you’re expecting the usage time to be 15+ hours it seems.

The percentages don’t decrease evenly. It takes a lot of time for the percentage to decrease from 100 to 60. Once it gets below 50 it drops 1% a minute. If the battery is at 40% I can easily exhaust it in 1-2 hours of Safari browsing.

That doesn’t happen on any of my phones. I never see 1% per minute with just Safari, not even at 10% left. Plus that has nothing to do with what I said. Typical deflection once again from you. Doging the fact your battery is lasting a full work day. 6am to 9pm+ is much longer than most people’s work day.

I will post a video proving this once my battery gets below 40%

If I start using my device at 100% at 7AM, by 12PM its at 60%. Then at 3PM its below 40 and that's when the percentage drop increases. On iOS 10, with heavy use it used to be at 20% or below at 10PM. With light use, it used to last into a second day for some time.

And as far as you saying this is fine, how about this iPhone X battery screenshot which supposedly lasts an hour less than the 8 Plus whose battery life equals the 7 Plus. This is double of what I get. Its lasting well into a second working day. ALso note this is with the battery hog Facebook installed while I don't have it installed.

It's an exercise in futility. It just goes in circles and things get pointed out and the ignored as the same points come back over and over even after they've already been addressed. I know. I don’t know why I bother. The thing that bugs me is that people come on this forum, don’t necessarily know who Radon or bashman or a few others are, and take what they say as legitimate advice and make poorly informed decisions as a result. It is bad
