Can anyone confirm whether the X has the data activity spinner in the top right status bar? I've yet to see that one running the latest official release whereas I saw the circle spinner on my other phones 247 for most tasks.
If you saw the circle spinner 24/7 on your other phones you had a problem. Most likely a stuck iCloud restore.

Downloading the beta right now, before I do anything like starting over. I think I might’ve figured out at least part of what’s causing a bit of a drain for me. I think it’s the poor WiFi connection at work all day. I have it shut off today (exception being while I’m doing ths update) and battery wasn’t decreasing near as much as it was any other day. Soon as I connected back to WiFi for the update it went down a couple percent, so I definitely think that’s at least part of it.

Well...crap. I made a mistake in downloading the beta without waiting until later tonight for my battery to run down first because I just realized I can’t keep track of usage/any drain now because of the reset after updating. *facepalm* Lesson learned. Haha

Any change on the the color calibration / white level on iPhone X display?
I’m still not 100% sure I’m not imagining it, but the white point does seem to have been improved in beta 4 and maybe even a bit more in beta 5. The white point seems to be a closer match for white objects in the room than when I first got the phone. The screen is still warmer than on my iPad Pro, so it’s possible I’ve just gotten used to the screen calibration on the X. But I’m not finding myself noticing that the screen has a yellow tinge in all lighting like I was a few weeks ago. I’d say Apple is doing some tinkering behind the scenes, even though I don’t have any proof beyond my own observations.

This beta still seems like it’s not the last one based on everyone’s comments. Phone app freezing. Voicemail issues. Those have to be cleared up in the final beta or the public release. Whichever comes next

Not sure if it was just my install, but I'm in the midst of reporting some WiFi performance inconsistencies. This is after rebooting, and later resetting network settings. Something seems to be up.

Do you really think there will be another beta next week? I hope the final comes next week

Next week will more than likely be the final build (the one that drops the letter at the end of the build number.) With the official release the following week after.

There is a slight chance we get the final build on Friday (seeing as we’ve seen Friday beta builds being pushed out a couple times recently)

Well your explanation falls apart in the the 5s and 6s customers pretty much have stellar devices and my opinion is a huge case of conformational bias for the iPhone 7 users. I’m not saying Apple is perfect but some of the things being thrown around are beyond ludicrous. Basically has a nefarious plan to snatch the money from your wallet.

Can confirm on my 6S+ and 5S here. No delay whatsoever, and experience has been corroborated with several '6S/5S on iOS 11' videos.

man, this sucks, airplay 2 was available for beta 3 but since beta 4 it’s been removed :/

With 347 I meant more or less it showing up when it was justified (e.g. dling apps ovet cellular and beind on the home screen).
It hasn‘t showed up once for me on the X ecen though it‘s supposed to be a tiny slider above the top right status bar icons.

iPhone 7, 11.2 beta 5.

  • Phone app still freezes and loses visual voicemail for some users (fix: toggle Airplane mode and Wifi off for 30 seconds)
That's been my exact problem for the past few betas. Apple really needs to fix that.

But the airplane mode toggle worked. Thank you good Sir.
I hope you and everyone else has submitted feedback on this one?? I just submitted feedback on it. I come from the Windows Phone world and it looked like the ONLY issues that ever got fixed were those with the most number of complaints in the feedback app.
[doublepost=1512047464][/doublepost]Is it just me or is there an issue when turning on a BT earpiece during a call? I receive a call and while I am talking I decide to switch to bluetooth. I turn on my earpice, it announces it is connected, the BT icon in the phone app illuminates.... but now there is no audio from either the earpiece OR the phone itself. If I turn the earpiece off and back on again it seems to connect and work normally. I think the same applies if I toggle the BT icon but I can't remember exactly.

Is this perhaps related to the phone app freezing issue?

Also possibly related.... I notice that occasionally there is a "WiFi" indication next to my carrier name (ATT). I am assuming this is an indication that WiFi calling is active? But it is mostly not there even though I am still in a very strong WiFi location and WiFi calling is enabled. Just wondering if these phone app issues are related to switching into and out of WiFi calling. That said, I did try disabling WiFi calling and the phone app was still freezing so maybe not.

Sorry to disappoint you but it's the same here. Only the feedback with the most complaints gets fixed.
