iOS 11.3 Beta 5 Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

I honestly think it's some kind of side effect from an OS tagged as beta rather than stable.

I remember 11.2 attention aware for calls was broken all the way up to the GM, then it was fine again. Until the 11.3 beta and now it's broken again.
 
I know the battery health stats is in beta, but I thought there would be more. More info such as charge cycles remaining etc. Even just down to the aesthetics, like maybe an Apple style graph or some other visual aid to help understand the battery health. Anyone else?

I've bitten the bullet. So far so good.

I have not enabled Messages in the cloud yet. Going to wait until the syncing issues are confirmed fixed.

My release month iPhone 7+ still has 94% battery capacity! Not bad.

EDIT: I should also note that the battery capacity level matches CoconutBattery which reads 93.5%.

I did a feedback suggestion to add more info like capacity, actual capacity, charge cycles, discharge rate, charge rate, graphical health, or maybe detecting authentic Apple or MFI certified cables from counterfeit when charging but prolly it won’t make it to 11.3 but maybe 12

This would be nice, but I wouldn't count on it.

It took a massive public embarrassment and potential lawsuits just for Apple to give us this.

Apple has historically been very bad at providing us with detailed operational information. At the very least I wish they'd open up the APIs so third parties could do it. Some of the battery information apps I've seen for Android are far out, giving you charge/discharge graphs and detailed battery wear information over months and years of usage. iOS developers should have access to similar information.

Yes and it's annoying as hell. I only joined the 11.3 party during beta 3, which is when the release notes said it started. I honestly can't remember if it was an issue on 11.2.6 or not. iPhone X here.

I guess that's the reason Apple decided to launch the HomePod without essential features like Multi-room, Stereo-pairing etc as they seem to be linked directly with AirPlay 2 and they obviously didn't want to wait until iOS 12 in August/September as they already had tons of HomePod ready for selling.

I actually believe that we will see iOS 11.4 with Airplay 2. I doubt that Apple would want to wait until September before supporting Multi-room audio for HomePod. My guess would be iOS 11.4 beta 1 the week after 11.3 release. 11.4 public release during WWDC in June.
 
I can't believe in smart invert colours they still don't fix the videos on the files app. They are still inverted (since 11.0 beta 3 or 4).

On my X, autoplay remains set at "off" after updating to beta5.

Same here. (iPhone X) I also experienced this on beta4 last week.

This beta still has issues with messages that is not being synced to iCloud. I did send a bug-report and got a reply from them. They wanted me to attach a sysdiagnose file which I did. I believe HSA-2 is referring to 2 factor authentication.

Enable 2 factor authentication and then see if the problems persist. If they do then give feedback again but I believe the problems will be gone once 2 factor is on.
 
Weather widget broken again on my X.
Its 11:06 pm here and the widget AND the app are both still showing 10:00 pm as „now“ and 11:00 pm as next in the timeline.
Restart was done after installation 2 hours ago.
It was working as supposed to in the last betas though.
