Anyone else’s video app disappeared?

In storage settings it shows I’ve still got 19gb of movies on my device but no way to even delete them??

wasn't the video app axed early in this beta cycle? You should be able to get to your movies via the TV app

Nor do I - 6S. I guess we are just special.

zero 3D touch issues for me as well. No resprings either.

So far this latest beta has been running very well.

I don't believe you, sorry. 3D Touch stuttering has been reported by most people throughout the beta, including myself on an iPhone 7 Plus. No possible way it would be any different for you with the same hardware and software, it's possible you don't know what you're looking for.

Don't believe you. No way a software issue is affecting some devices and not others, even though they're the same device. Again, I'm going to choose to believe you don't know what you're looking for. Either that or record your screen and share with us!

Here’s a screen recording I just did of my 7+ on DP8. 3D Touch seems fine to me, but then I remember the insane lag from Betas 1-4. *shrugs*

Just done restore of beta 8 on 7 plus and still slow when shutting apps there a delay and 3d glitches when activated i really hope GM fixes these problems

Not sure but possible, though they've had updates since then and still work on iOS 10.3.3. Luckily I've got my 6s to test it on before I update my 7 Plus.

they may have been updated but outside of specific app betas, ios11-compatible apps won't be mass deployed until the day iOS11 officially launches.

Out of curiosity: Have you tried setting it up as a new device? Or are you restoring from a backup?
I set up as new and didnt so backup so complete fresh install, i know a lot of people say i keep saying same thing but thats what this forum is for to talk about it and i can't go back to ios 10 cos i updated my watch, i just wish ios 11 was as smooth as before

I'm still having issues with "Hey Siri" in my 2016 Dodge Charger. It will open up on my car screen display like it used to in 10.3.3. However when I am waiting for the beep, then I start talking it just shuts down. Any one having this problem in their car?

You're definitely seeing the animation stutters that we're all describing. You see how the pop up doesn't happen in one smooth move? It's almost like there's 2 frames to the animation? That shouldn't be happening.

Oh. I thought people were still complaining about the 1-2 second delay in registering the 3d touch input itself that was present in Betas 1-4. I (personally) don't care about the frame rate of that particular animation since it doesn't have any impact on usability and it's a beta. It's not something that would annoy me enough to downgrade. The delay in registering the 3D touch itself was enough to make me go back to 10.3.3 early on though. But yeah, hopefully they get around to fixing it.

Wow! 8 betas and the disappearing email notification bug is still present.

I can’t be the only one noticing this?

1. Clear all emails
2. Clear all email notifications
3. When new emails arrive, the first notification disappears when the email notifications transfer to the “earlier today” section of Notification Center
4. One less notification shows compared to actual emails

This has been happening since beta 1
Have you reported?

Problem is, if they don't fix it you could argue Apple is creating a perceived slow-down of the device in order to sell new iPhones. ;)

This is exactly what's happening every year! Just keep your phone on its original iOS for its best performance. Or upgrade and you gain new features but your max performance is dulled down a little bit with each passing major yearly update.

If I’m not mistaken you’re not supposed to wait for the beep. The beep you’re waiting for is Siri indicating she didn’t hear anything. Try doing “Hey Siri...”, wait a second or two and then talk and she should register your request. Once you finish talking you’ll hear that prompt and she’ll do her thing.

I had many resprings on beta 6 & 7 on 6s. But not a single one on B8.

Go into messages, and drag a sticker app icon from the right side to the divider over towards the left. As soon as it crosses the divider line, message will quit to springboard. (Yes I've logged it, and a couple of other repeatable ones I've encountered).

Just tried it and no respring. iPhone 7

I know this is obvious, but I really hope everyone is posting all their problems to the feedback app!
Oh yes!

Hmmm, that process would be a change then. I'll have to try it that way. Thanks!

Anyone still experiencing not receiving iMessage notifications? Only issue I had with B7 and keeping me from B8
I have it too and also if sender send more than 1 iMessage first message status is read when i am not read it.

Is severe battery drain still present? Especially upon using GPS based apps? Thanks.

It is. Really. Beta 8 is definitely smoother for me on iPhone 7 than beta 1. Hand to God.
