Considering going back to 11.0.3 from PB 11.1 v2. PB is nice but folks seem pretty happy with 11.0.3

iPhone X releases in 3 weeks (surely on iOS 11.1) and we're still only at Beta 2
Considering iOS 11.1 is rather small compared to other X.1 updates, it might only need a couple of betas. I wouldn't be surprised if we only get 3 betas and then a week gap between beta 3 and release date.

Well "need" is subjective. We may only get a few but we may "need" about 13 more. :) Of course there is always 11.1.1 and 11.1.2 and 11.2 and 11.2.1 and .............

still bluetooth e car usb issue...i can't be happy...im frustrated...
You may want to do the same as me - admitting defeat and looking at replacing the receiver in your car. Going to put one in that supports CarPlay and put this grief to an end. I had sent an e-mail 4 days ago to Tim / executive escalation team regarding their support / downgrading policies and user impact - not a word back. Not going to live with a scenario that I don't have hands free working in my car.
Problem persists in 11.0.3 btw.

Oh...and it's something that Apple / the Carrier are pushing down in their settings after install. 11.0.1 didn't have the problem for hours. Then when I noticed that my health and activity data were back, boom, the problem's back.

(and that's setting up from new, so how do you stop them from pushing this data on you?)

Only solution - replace the receiver with a newer one that works well with Apple.

The developers/ public testers are only testing bug fixes, emojis and security fixes. The other beta paths (Apple internally and banking system) are technically already on beta 5. Those are testing iOS 11.1 since the GM of iOS 11.

We can only hope. This is the first time I actually went back from the the latest version, after using all the betas even, to the previous release version. I remember iOS 8.0 on release day iP6 and how bad it was. I'm just over the small niggles that are in 11 that makes for a less than stellar user experience.

There are already millions of iPhones X in stock. How is Apple able to update these iPhones to iOS 11.1, in the next weeks??
Because Apple already has the GM of iOS 11.1 ready to go. Apple is always 2-3 builds ahead internally. How do you think iOS 11.0 which was beta 10 was already loaded on all the iPhone 8/8Plus units. My iPhone 8 Plus was built middle of August. Well before beta 10 was even seeded to developers.

Exactly, their internal builds are a few builds ahead of what they release. This happens every year and should not be a surprise. They aren't flashing 10 million devices in the few days before boxing and shipping preorders.

This is why when people complain X bug wasnt fixed I reported it 18 times; because they aren't going to address it until the next OS beta x.x.x or whatnot version as the devices are already loaded with the .0 (with the X .1) release.

I wouldn't expect a ton of 11.1 betas anyway; maybe 4 to 5 total. Once the X is in people's hands there will surely be a quick update or 2 to address any big issues with X specific features being a completely new form factor. They arent trying to get everything done in 11.1 as no one has a X in hand to beta it on yet.

What was the build version on it? The same as GM?
