He didn't claim one way or another, same with beta 3. Therefore, he isn't "wrong".
Same build, we (as a financial institute) received yesterday. As this was the first full release (with all features) expect this to be the „GM“ for iOS 11.1
So, should Apple Pay Cash be active on this release or do they need to turn it on on the back end?
Deactivated for the public testers so far... this is a back end thing. Banks have a special profile to test it..
Maybe he felt a bit ashamed to break all the fun about the speculation thing and he preferred to leave the pleasure of a good surprise

Today’s build is the final beta, official 11.1 will not be released next week.
Interesting that they got it out on Friday even though it seems like they aren't planning on releasing it in the next week.
Sounds like it's pretty close though. Probably the week after next by the looks of it in that case.
So it's safe to assume that the final build will be out on the Monday or Tuesday before the iPhone X launch?
Makes 100% sense, as we are waiting for macOS 10.13.1 GM and tvOS 11.1.0 GM

Therefore it’s not the GM. It’s the final beta but the public release will have a new build.
The feedback app was removed in my developer build.
Thanks for the update. Will the official release have a different build number?
