He said “any difference with beta 1”, how are so many people missing this lol
Right, seems the question was in reply to a post saying that the X already got beta 2, as in to say, "are there any differences between that beta 2 and beta 1?".

Looks like 11.2 is on a faster development cycle than usual since it's gone straight into weekly betas.

Its probably just to get it caught up to iPhone X. Next cycle could be 2 weeks.

I think we see weekly beta. In two weeks is Thanksgiving week -a typically Apple week when nothing happens.

maybe 11.1.1 tomorrow..including the calculator bug and the other autocorrect bug..

Again, I highly doubt that there’ll be iOS 11.1.1 for those non crucial issues. It is not a showstopper. They released a workaround for the time being. That’s all. If something major occurs (e.g. WLAN module not working, cellular not working) those issues will be fixed right away...

Wouldn't surprise me that they are on a faster than normal schedule since they need 11.2 out in time for the Home Pod.

I'm guessing that they are really on a 2 week schedule and that this one was really like beta 1.5 in order to catch up everyone to the iPhone X build.
Maybe but the fact that the public was available on the 1st build may indicate things are in a shorter time frame. Guess we will see next week but I suspect we will see b3 then and probably nothing the following week due to thanksgiving week. But for sure who knows, Apple seems to do whatever whenever these days.

I think you are correct about Thanksgiving week. Apple usually shuts down everything for the entire week.

I agree with the shorter schedule. I think we see Beta 3 next week. Beta 4 the week of 11/27 and then that might be it. Or at most "Beta 5" is the release candidate for the HomePod features. And that could come the week of 12/11 (or else they won't be selling too many HomePods for Christmas!)
