If 11.2.5 is the upcoming Final without others to fill the gap till 1.2.5 I bet they want to get it out quick.
Looking at the past few years they haven’t released any beats on MLK day. But I see they released a 7.1 beta in 2014, so I take back what I said.
Not really surprising, but I have been burned before on MLK.
I would assume a "GM-like" beta this week. My sources told me that this shall be the final beta, as banks received the full iOS build last Friday. This is typically an indication that the beta path for iOS 11.2.5 nears the end.
Awesome. The last two betas have been fantastic so I wouldn’t be surprised
Hope we get final 11.2.5 beta today, I've been wanting to install it on my X to see if it performs any better than 11.2.2
The build number. If it contains the 5 and small letter at the end, it’s not suitable for public release.

Well not sure "not suitable" would be a correct term. But it does indicate its still a beta build. Example below basically the same build with the mentioned changes to the naming:
iOS 11.0 beta 10 15A5372a
iOS 11.0 GM/release 15A372
So they drop the leading '5' and the letter revision on the end for release versions.
[Edit] Of course iOS 11.0 release could be considered "not suitable" technically
Maybe. But we will not get a public release this week now. Any time a beta comes out for any plantform, no public release for all.
Doesn't this put them all on beta 5 now? (all being tvOS, watchOS, iOS and mac)
