Unless, as has happened before, Apple finds a bug it doesn't like, and releases another beta.

I don't see any reason to delay iOS 11.2.5 now with the "GM" shipped. Especially with the fix for the chaiOS issue.

The only reason I see Apple not realising it today would be a loophole which causes security concerns which raised over the weekend.

You’re being a bit selective, they’ve had releases on Wednesdays, Fridays, and even Saturdays.
