Fixes AirPlay 2? I don't have Airplay 2 (or cant see it at least) on my 8+ running Beta 2, am I missing something?

Maybe my terminology is off. I assumed we had Air Play 2, albeit without stereo/multi-room audio, on these betas.

What I meant by “working” was, the audio is noticeably out of sync coming from my Apple TV and definitely not stereo-ized.

Sounds like AirPlay 1 to me, I thought AirPlay 2 has no lag on it whatsoever. Maybe it is just a bug however..

For what it's worth, I haven't experienced the issue since going on the 11.4 beta. But it's only beta 2, so I'm not sure you want to take that plunge.
Have you still not had the issue on 11.4?

I factory restored from iTunes and then restored my backup on 11.3.1 and.... same problem. No chime or vibrate when plugging until a reboot after awhile.

I’m starting to think it’s a hardware issue. My next step I guess is either install the beta and see how it goes or start as a new phone and run it for a day blank like that and see if it still does it. Could be a corrupted backup but my gut says something is getting weird with my charging hardware itself.

I still haven’t had the issue. I don’t think it’s hardware related, I just think it’s a rare software bug.

Can we expect 11.3.2 today, due to battery and IP7 microphone issue?
Anything is possible, but it's not that likely. It doesn't sound like Apple quite knows what's going on with some of those iPhone 7 microphone issues (or if something in the software can fix things for those affected). And it doesn't appear to be some sort of a particular widespread significant battery problem that the last update or two introduced.

Given there is only a month left before 11.4 releases I can see them just focusing on that. Should see beta 4 today or tomorrow since with them releasing dev and public on the same day last week it should mean the start of weekly beta releases.

More likely that their source(s) got nervous after the Apple memo was sent out about cracking down on leakers.

If that were it, I’d expect to see at least SK21 here. He/she was an active poster on things in addition to ApplePay.

Beta 4 is here!
Curious, what was that based on? Seems like the usual Twitter accounts that monitor releases weren't saying anything (at least I don't see any related notifications). I do see MR posted about updates too though.

Edit: Just now, about 12 minutes later one of the first notifications from a monitoring account on Twitter seems to have come through.

Forgive me if I'm asking this question in the wrong forum but... does anyone know if Apple is still signing iOS 11.3? I found an unofficial site that said that they did but I couldn't downgrade from 11.3.1. The error message was "
Declined to Authorize This Image on this Device for This User"

11.3 was no longer signed about 5 days ago

I have to leave the beta as my 8P is still having the issue were the volume bar appears out of nowhere and the volume goes up or down by itself. You can watch it happen. I will turn it back down and a minute later volume bar will show up again and volume will go up.

It’s pretty freaky. Apple Support says I have to be on public iOS to address.

This has happened on and off beta iOS. It’s been going on a few months now.
