I have to leave the beta as my 8P is still having the issue were the volume bar appears out of nowhere and the volume goes up or down by itself. You can watch it happen. I will turn it back down and a minute later volume bar will show up again and volume will go up.

It’s pretty freaky. Apple Support says I have to be on public iOS to address.

This has happened on and off beta iOS. It’s been going on a few months now.

Well that's a fun little hardware problem to have! Back in the days of the iPad 2, mine slipped off my sofa arm and on to a tile floor. It resulted in a jammed volume rocker switch that always turned the volume up. Hopefully they replace it for you!

They think it may have been the case. Apple Leather Case. Buttons were bowed in and I hadn’t noticed. Before wiping phone trying new case, on Apple. Works for me.

I guess 11.3.2 incoming this week to fix that black dot of death WhatsApp/iMessage exploit?
For something that doesn't seem to have really gotten much coverage it doesn't look all that likely that there would be a fix being released so suddenly.

A lot of time on my hands due to all children having moved out of the house + following way too many tech sites and devs on Twitter
Lol. I was referring to the actual bug itself. But thats a good point about the link because I haven't come across that at all.
