No. WWDC is the 4th. Only thing coming that day is iOS 12B1, watchOS 5B1, tvOS 12B1 and macOS 10.14B1.

Also, doesn't Apple look like idjits if they talk about HomePod features for iOS12 if they just release Airplay 2 that day, a year after announcing it? I would think they'd like as much water under the Airplay 2 bridge as possible.

It’s only happened once. A public release at 8am and a beta at 10am. Not on an event day though.
