Anyone else having that annoying Badge on the settings icon?? It’s been there since I updated. I’ve checked a lot of times, no settings needed my attention or any pending changes inside the settings. Restarted too.

Anyone else having that annoying Badge on the settings icon?? It’s been there since I updated. I’ve checked a lot of times, no settings needed my attention or any pending changes inside the settings. Restarted too.

My Settings badge got stuck after I tried to get 12.1.2 b1 and they tried to give me 12.1.1 b3.

Even after I deleted the 12.1.1 b3 file, the badge remained until I was able to get the public beta of 12.1.2. It's gone now.

I know it can get stuck for various reasons. Just report it in case other people are having the badge for the same reason you are.

I have a version of the app switcher bug, but it's nothing like as bad as some people have demonstrated.

For me, it's just kind of glitchy and not as smooth as it was in 12.1.1.

I thought the delay in releasing the public beta might have had to do with fixing this, because it was something that everybody using the developer beta seemed to complain about within a few hours.

But it's there...just not as bad (for me).

It's running good so far, but only been a few hours. It did fix an issue that has always been there for many ios versions. If you have old text convo's, old, some of mine are from 2011... Yes... I've restored every iphone from backup when I get a new one. Anyway, those old convo's maybe starting from 2016 and before, when you would click a convo, then go out of it and then back, they would disappear and the order would get messed up. Mainly only for text threads pre 2016. That is now not an issue since this beta. This is a small thing most may not even need to do, but for those with lots of text threads going back years, you can do it flawlessly now. Even on my iphone 6s on ios 11 you couldn't do it correctly with those old convo's...

Thank you for the feedback! Have you had any problems with Wi Fi or cellular data?

Not sure if I’m the only one but I noticed a photo I posted on Instagram was heavily compressed - it looked fine after upload but a few mins later it looked like ****! Not sure if this is an instagram bug (I’m am on version 74.0.0.17.99) or iOS.

They need to sort out the accuracy of the battery heath, before updating to this beta my iPhone X (only bought at the end of january) was showing as 95% capacity then straight after installing its dropped 3% to 92%.
They need to either sort the accuracy or change it so it shows the cycle count along with design capacity and current capacity

I've had this bug for the longest where a imessage preview will cut off the bottom line or most recent text. Is this fixed?

This beta has been an absolute GEM!! My phone is running the best and least buggy it ever has. Reception is spectacular-- even with eSIM. It feels like this is the one. I'm debating turning automatic updates off forever because this has been so nice.

....after only 24 hours of run time?

My UK indoor 4g is no better on EE. I'm sure my old 6S Plus was way better than this XS Max. I will swap the SIM over and do some testing in the same places.

What device? Would be helpful to know.

Xs Max on Verizon

You people talking about issues and saying “ my phones Lte signal is 1-2 bars less or whatever “ need to be specific on your issue and what phone you have .

Sure thing, chief. Edited to specify.

So, anyone with Xs Max or ANY OTHER MODEL having LTE issues?

WiFi is better. Bluetooth is weaker than usual. Apple Watch can’t stay connected after I leave my room. XS Max.
Also other Bluetooth devices don’t seem to stay connected after a short distance away.

With 12.1.1 I lost (kind of) my SmartThings complication on my Apple Watch (Series 4). My faces that had it on continued to work; however, I no longer saw the complication as an option even if I tried to create a new but same face with the SmartThings complication. I was essentially stuck with where I had it.

12.1.2.B1 brings the SmartThings complication back to all supported faces and locations.

Please be sure to report that in case you haven’t yet. That’s a biggie.

If you use T-Mobile Money, please be sure to report the applications problems with URL operability, and the problem with scrolling inside the application's text fields.

Thanks will do. It’s so weird. Yet my headphones seems to be fine.

Yes! It started in 12.1.1 for me, driving me crazy. My Apple Watch falls back to WiFi or cellular when the iPhone is locked, even when it’s in my pocket. Same with a Bluetooth connected sleep monitor, when my phone is charging overnight, it won’t maintain a connection and thus won’t track my sleep. AirPods seem fine but maybe because it’s keeping the BT connection alive while streaming. My watch battery is abysmal with the fallback from BT

(And reported multiple times)
