i got some issue with itunes on macbook.

Why cant i update IOS through itunes? When i plug in phone with macbook, the only options i get is "to set iphone as new" or set it up from backup...? i have updated to the latest itunes.
Before i could se the phone, i could do the syncrozation and all other things...whats wrong with it now?

My AirPods constantly disconnect now have tried hard reset, re-pairing, phone calls, Apple Music etc. Was working perfectly all morning

Just had my first Call Failure what the actual hell, both me and my mate on 12.1 and just dropped call, and faceID is slow what has apple done this hasn't been fixed what the hell

That stinks. Can you get it in to a store and get a replacement?

First thing: I'd wait until the newly installed software settles down. It may be processor lag due to all the indexing and whatnot. Wait 4 or 5 hours (or overnight since its 2200 there, right?) and see if it works better. If not, I'd say it may be a hardware issue, especially since you seem especially hard hit by this.

Think I would've gotten a replacement by now. You're about 2 weeks in now and a month-in from launch day. I'd be getting a replacement.

So did any one notice if the remaining issues from beta 5 fixed in this new build?

Remaining Issues
  • Lock screen orientation glitch in the Control Center: If you have screen orientation lock enabled, and then change the state of "Increase Contrast" in Settings, for example enable it, your lock orientation icon will be fully white instead of red.
  • Some apps like Google Maps and Clash Royale will lag on iPhone X and above: Open the affected app, for example Google Maps. Do not do anything else, just minimize your brightness to the lowest. Now, you will see the app's FPS number has been drastically decreased, try to do circles in the map, you will see it is laggy. To make it smooth again, you can: A) Start screen recording or B) Increase brightness.
  • Folder in Dock bug - swipe to widgets and then back to home screen: it will blink.
  • Grouped notifications glitch - Expand, collapse and then expand again a grouped notification quickly, it will have a glitchy animation.
  • Text in the home bar in apps such as WhatsApp, FB Messenger and MyFitness Pal will glitch when swiping between screens causing the text to become closer together
  • On an iPhone X, XS, and XS Max, if your home screen have multiple pages, go to a different page other than main, then swipe up to get to your main page. After you quickly want to open anything in the Dock, you can't, you need to wait a few seconds to be able to do it.
  • Lock screen time & lock status glitch: using your locked iPhone, swipe from right to left two times quickly. For the second swipe, your time and lock status will disappear.
  • Notification center missing background: Lock and unlock your phone. Then open an app, and quickly pull down the notification center. It won't have background for a few seconds.
  • Landscape mode control center bug: Open anything in landscape mode, for example a YouTube video in full screen. Open your Control Center, swipe from right to left, then close CC. There will be a stuck bar at the top of your screen for a few seconds.
  • App crash bug: Open the app switcher. Tap on an app, swipe it up to close, but while its closing tap on it - > glitchy crash.
  • Adding the first widget in the available widgets list will have a glitchy animation.
  • Safari: "add to home screen" - when there is just one home screen, it does not show the recently added icon. It does create a 2nd home screen page but when you swipe left the icon is missing. After a reboot or waiting for several minutes, the icon may appear.
  • Phone app UI glitch: Start a call, go to the home screen and then back to the call - > the background will be gone.
  • Since iOS 11.4 still can’t initiate ‘album’ playback via Siri on the watch with music that is locally stored on phone.
  • When iCloud Keychain and text replacements are enabled, text replacement won’t be offered anymore when trying to login. The specific text replacement is overwritten with “Password”.

strange dunno why im seeing it, ill let the update settle maybe will fix its self
Have you thought about resetting the faceID? Perhaps its having an issue recognizing you or something like that. Just a thought. XR here and its fine and no change for me.

It’s not like that on any of my devices either. It’s on the bottom like yours
It was at the top for me immediately after the restart but has since been at the bottom. Seems like it's only up top when you need to swipe up to bring up the passcode entry to unlock.
