Homebar was introduced with ios 11 so that doesnt count. And ios 12 was a performance focused release so no visual changes were expected. I think we will get rid of the homebar in ios 13.
I don't think that'll happen. The home indicator is a metaphor that helps define the iPhone full screen design. Without it it doesn't really look as it should.

I know what youre trying to say, but whats with the controlcenter bar? Its just visible at the lockscreen. Maybe they go the same way with the homebar, it would be nice. At least, give us options.

I'm not going to criticize anyone for finding the homebar annoying (I don't but I can see how it would be). However, in the absence of any other cues, I can see why Apple wants it there. What would be nice is if it could be part of a "newbie" mode, allowing you to turn it off after you understand the process of navigating (which, to be honest, the bar doesn't help much with anyway).

Can anyone test if this has been fixed?

On iPad with an app open. Open spotlight and then drag an app from spotligth to one of the sides to split the screen. Do you get the regular blurred window or just an icon?

I’m having a problem with sending audio messages through the Messages app.

Seems that any audio message longer than 4:30/5:00 gets hung up and never seems to send. Short 2-3 minute messages go through just fine.

I’ve sent feedback, but wondered if anyone else is experiencing this...

Apple wallet Settings use a new design. Round corner around the text elements.
Maybe a test for a new Settings design in iOS 13?

Since yesterday my Wifi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting. I'll look over and it's LTE for about 5-10 seconds before switching back. All of my other devices are fine and prior to this beta my XR didn't have this issue.

Hmm, I did not get any Wallet message after upgrading. Even used it with one of my registered credit cards this morning at McDonalds. Worked same as usual..... strange.

Darndest thing. On a lark, I removed my tight-fitting case and restarted. Issue is gone. Perhaps it was affecting the NFC chip somehow.

Hmmm. Not having this issue on my XR. Everything is work fine. In fact cellular connection is better on 12.2 b1 than on 12.1.3.

Found a bug. When you access the Apple TV remote widget through the now playing widget in Control Center, the UI at the bottom doesn’t fill the curves of the screen properly. The issue doesn’t happen when opening the remote widget directly.

I reported it and also added it to the Wiki post.

The screenshot makes it look totally different than it actually is. You’ll have to go look yourself to see what I mean.

Edit: Disregard. I took a photo of the issue instead of a screenshot to better illustrate the problem.

Found another bug. If I pull down Control Center and then 3D Touch on something like the wireless controls and then dismiss everything and go back to the Home Screen, the status bar disappears. It will come back in apps, but not the Home Screen until I restart.

I reported it and added it to the Wiki post.

My Gmail stopped connecting to the mail server on all my 12.2 Beta 1 devices. Working fine on my Mac and 12.1.3 iOS devices. Tried removing it and re adding it and it won't save at all on 12.2. Here is what it's doing:

Anyone else having this issue with a Gmail/Google account?
