iOS 12 Beta 5 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

This release has been the buggiest for me. The Messages app keeps crashing, and making the phone respring.

Safari tabs still does not work. This is very annoying. I can't open new tabs in bookmarks or websites links. And internet speed is so much slower than before.

Sigh. The couple of reports of Apple fixing them having wrecked the wallpapers is false. I switched back to my iOS 11 wallpapers and they're blown out again.

Is it me or grouped notifications for mail messages have been removed?

If that is the only notifications you have then they won’t group until you get more than three notifications from that app.

When moving a message from the inbox to another mailbox, sometimes mailboxes are greyed out.

I think the fact that non-children family members aren't showing up in Screen Time is a feature, not a bug.

what did this feature do before? Are you able to monitor other adults' screen time and what they are doing? who in the world would sign up for that?

Outlook Server Error- "Cannot Send Mail: The message was rejected by the Server."
This is the error I am receiving on trying to send mail using Outlook.com server on iOS 12 beta 5.

Have you reported it to Apple? I’ve got no such problem on mine (never have with any iOS 12 beta) fortunately.

Not sure if it’s reported yet - opening the app switcher within an app offsets that app’s card too far right on the stack. Makes it harder to view/grab.

Yes I have report two times. This start 2 days ago when I set block all cookies to ON in safari settings. Then I put it back OFF and then it's broken.

Works ok for me. Closed tab, close safari and I’m still logged in.

Yes, hit the x and closed safari. Went back in and replied to your message without logging in again.

Hmm... its weird. Sometimes I’m logged off sometimes I’m not. I’ve tried it 10 times now. 5 times I was logged off.

I am using Stock mail app.
I configured the mail account after updating to beta 5, not earlier.

Noticed iPhone 10 resprings in the messages app. When it resprings, anything I typed was erased and have to retype everything. Kind of an annoying bug but I can deal with it. iPhone SE has not resprung when in messages app yet.

Had this issue in beta 1 ..check settings-phone-my number and see if your phone number is there .. if not try to add it and sometimes it works

Another great beta. So far iOS 12 is having the best beta period i seen yet, from beta 1 till now, and i thought iOS 11 was doing good.

same here, happened several times yesterday and then today as well. I hope it goes away on its own but it seems like it's here to stay until beta 6.
