Updated to iOS 12 on my iPhone and my fiance’s and hers wasn’t working. I removed her and tried to send an invite but she’s not receiving it. This has never happened before. Any suggestions? Thanks all.

Activity badges are still missing and buggy, it’s showing me as not having 200% of my move goal today despite the ring and calorie burn showing otherwise.

I put the GM seed of Watch OS 5 on my Watch and no difference.

Honestly shocked Apple is releasing a GM with a bugged activity app.

The fact it’s saying I need 0 more calories today shows it knows I’ve doubled it today.

This is why I'm both shocked and disappointed that the final beta was the GM, it was not ready for primetime. Looks like I will not be updating my phone to iOS 12 until I get my new phone.

I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this issue, but I expected it to be solved by now (unless it’s actually a “feature”). In the messages app, whenever using 3D Touch to preview content the apps area (above the text input area) changes colour to black and then switches back. I’ve noticed this behaviour for the previous few betas. You can see what I mean in the video below.

My update is stuck on update requested.

Anyone know a work around? I tried hard reset, reset network settings. And still no go.

Had to do an ipsw update and that fixed the update requested issue for me.

So far everything you guys have said is true! Super smooth and everything is a little bit faster on my regular 7! I’ll be keeping this for another year at least and getting a new battery. The 10s is only what maybe 40% faster? My launch 7 still flies! No use throwing down $1000 this year for me. I feel like the notch will be either reduced or gone by 2020 and then I’d be kicking myself for getting the original notch design. And maybe by then the phone will be twice as fast as my 7 and really blow me away like the jump from the 6 to the 7 was. But then again I feel like those noticeable jumps in performance days are long gone since everything is just so fast now.

Nope, working fine on X here. Tried with gifs, photos, links and not seeing the app tray turn black.

I also have a 7 on iOS 11 and Geekbench shows iPhone X from last year has a multi-core score that is doubled compared to my phones score. How do you figure the iPhone XS will only be 40% faster?

A11 has 25% faster performance cores than A10. A12 has up to 15% faster performance cores than A11. 25+15=40.

I think the single core score is really the only score that seems to matter with daily tasks with the iPhone. The multi core score seems to only be cool for like showing off what it could do but nothing really takes advantage of it yet. Maybe some games and stuff.

So no portrait editing feature will be available in IOS 12 because the current iphone chips can't handle that functionality huh?

Sorry if this has been mentioned above.

The release notes list
  • CarPlay adds support for third-party navigation apps
as a new feature.

But Waze, Google Maps, and any others are completely absent. There are no additional CarPlay apps in this GM.

Do we have to wait for 12.1?

any reason why PB hasn’t shown up OTA yet?
I downloaded PB OTA hours ago.

Those apps need time to deploy with builds on the new Xcode. Will not happen until general public release next Monday,
Even thne, those companies may not be ready.

So anybody notice screen time and screen on usage times in the battery section don’t seem to match up? Hmmm this doesn’t make sense.
[doublepost=1536803969][/doublepost]You’d think they would be equal? Am I missing something. Just installed today.

Well the GM release of iOS12 seems to have fixed the missing badge numbers problem I had with the Messages app on iPad.

Does anyone get choppy music playback when launching the camera app on iPad?
Can a build be said to resolve an issue even if the previous build number is the same as current one.
