No it will still come down because technically its a different build. I suspect its just a bit delayed.
Hi bro. I have a mini4 on ios 11.3 and it's peformance is really bad (i bought brandnew month ago).
Please leave a feedback about it on ios 12.
Thank you so much.

A11 has 25% faster performance cores than A10. A12 has up to 15% faster performance cores than A11. 25+15=40.

Maths is ok, but logic not. If you have 10 dollars, and Jack has 25% more, than Jack has 12.5 dollars. If Nick has up to 15% more than Jack, that means he has 14.375 dollars. So Nick has 43.75% more dollars than you, not 40% as you say.

(To work it out do 1.25 * 1.15 = 1.4375, or 143.75% of the original, or 43.75% faster.)

I updated via .ipsw last night and haven’t used phone all night. Although the phone in use is fine and I’m by no means concerned this is pretty surprising. Phone had been restarted and one an Apple 29w USB-C charger!

Single core score is fine

Multi core is way lower

For comparison this is my phone on 11.2.5

Metal is fine.

Going to wait until phone is back at 100% and try again to see if an anomaly.

In comparison my IPP 10.5 is fine which was updated OTA.

That's exactly why! iPhone X was the last iPhone that I bought.. moving to something else, whatever will take the competition..

I have no clue what hardware is required for such a feature, but if you are going to move away from iPhone because you hate it when old models do not get the features of newer phones you will have to look really hard to find the correct one.

Perhaps the Google Pixel line-up is the only one you might consider. I'm not entirely sure. Samsung, Huawei etc are notorious for never backporting new features to even year-old phones. The 6-months old top-of-the-line Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus does not have feature and software parity with the Galaxy Note 9 even though the hardware is 99% identical besides the S-Pen and larger display and its not even 1-year old.
[doublepost=1536822957][/doublepost]The Books app (re-named from iBooks with iOS 12) is still buggy on my wife's iPhone X. She can't control any of her audio books. The UI is just stuck, and trying to start it using the remote on the EarPods doesn't do anything either.

It's working for me, but I have another bug related to the Books-app where the amount of storage used for audio-books is not showing under Settings - iPhone Storage. My top app i the list is Apple Music with 9 Gb, but I have over 30Gb of audio-books and they are just not showing in the list. They are showing in the top line that shows the overall amount of storage used where the colour for media is huge but it's not being detailed anywhere which it has always done with previous iOS releases...

Anyone else have the bug that the voice memo settings to automatically delete voice memos after a certain amount of time never worked since beta 1 ?

Hello,

did you have problem with the function in settings (general) , that turn off the date displayed in the top bar?

ipad mini 2 - public beta 10

change of this switch does not change anything on my ipad

  1. Open "Settings". From the home screen, tap on the Settings icon. ...
  2. Tap "General". ...
  3. Tap “Date & Time.” ..
  4. there is a option to show date

sorry for my English :p

My iPhone X available storage has dropped from 24gb to 17gb after installing the update. Had thought it was doing some background housekeeping but it's not reverted back to 24gb free.

Sorry for off topic, but does the ios 12 beta 10 run smoothly on ipad mini2, compare with ios 11.3?
Thank you

Installed GM from beta 12 and yes I know it’s the same build but I haven’t noticed anything new or different.

Hi there, I have an iPad mini 4; iOS 12 GM works without any issues(as did the previous beta) and the device is smooth for me; I didn't have any problems in iOS 11 as well...But I do think it's smoother with iOS 12.

I've read on a german iPhone related Website that iOS 12 will need between 10 GB and 12 GB on the device now instead of arround 8 GB. Maybe that's the issue.

8gb for me on my X. I have gone nuclear though and restored the phone as new then again but restored from latest backup.

Before doing that I was sat at 12-15gb depending on how the OS was feeling!
