Wow that's fast, maybe that means Apple Card will come sooner rather than later in the summer.

This probably makes sense in light of no Public Beta. This one is being put out to fix something.
So, basically, whatever was wrong in Dev Beta 1, was fixed in Dev Beta 2 and Apple was sufficiently confident that they released the Public beta almost immediately. I am now thinking that the Apple Card will be released at or just after WWDC and that 12.4 will be released at that time. Just a wild a** guess on my part, but this does seem quick and there's really not too much to this but the Card add-ons. Makes you wonder why they didn't include this in 12.3, if so.
Only reason I can think of is that they may be legally bound to release the Card at a certain time and they wanted the TV+ app released earlier than that. Otherwise, yeah, it could've all been 12.3.
The point being getting critical fixes out without rushing a major version release?
Guys we are just 10 days away from first beta of iOS 13, can you believe it?
Very excited to see what they have planned. Definitely not trying it out myself for the first few betas though.
Well, I’m looking at it through the other end of the telescope: they are releasing critical fixes now because the more significant release is still some time off. Arrive at same destination, however.
