There will be at least one difference. Apple Support has already confirmed the GM will fix the activity badge issues.

Why must people be so pessimistic. The GM is likely to hold the biggest fixes since beta 1 -> beta 2.

That's more of an apple watch issue. People without wouldn't even know.

Have a link to where they said the GM fixed that?

Sorry for the silly question but will the GM be released over the public beta profile? I’m pretty sure it is but want to be certain. I’m going to pull the trigger with my 7 today if that’s the case. I’ve waited far too long. Still on 11.4.1. I know the GM is 99% of the time the same build as the public release so I usually update at his point every year.

It was for iOS 10 and iOS 11 and is expected to for iOS 12.

iOS 10 GM for public beta profile was one day after developers, iOS 11 was the same day. So again it’s expected to be same day for iOS 12.

Cool thanks! My series 2 is still on os 4... will it still work for now with iOS 12?

The picture of the ECG pdf showed iOS 12.1 and watchOS 5.1.

Shows just how far ahead Apple is with alpha testing.
Nice spot. It’s worth bearing in mind that 12.1 dev would have been going on while they were still fixing stuff in 12.0, that’s just how development works.

I’m sure you know this, just saying it here because it’s sometimes argued that the existence of later versions means earlier versions are complete, when it’s not necessarily the case. Concurrent development occurs, there were likely people working on the iOS 13 revamp during iOS 12 dev etc.

Was any announcement made on when tvOS 12 will be out to the general public? Know this is the iOS forum but the tvOS forum is dead compared to here.

its strange that a12 is only 15% faster than a11 but the single camera Xr can do portrait but iPhone 8 can’t , do you think it could be added in the later versions of ios 12?

I’ll be PISSED if the selective depth feature doesn’t come to the X at least.

It’s already possible using the Focos app!
