I thought Apple was done holding back new software features for no apparent reason, but apparently not.

Sure, and Ford could put a Mustang engine in a Model T. But that's not what they're in the business of doing. They sell NEW cars. Apple sells NEW phones. Can't you all just be happy that iOS 12 supports all the way back to the 5S and stop complaining about not getting new hardware features?

Hmmm... so I expected that once I removed the beta profile I'd see an update to GM, which would remove Feedback app and all that but nothing... yet.

Time will tell, but’s it the same build minus the beta stuff. Maybe you have to install using the ipsw file?

If it has been seeded to the public beta testers too, their (our) only official option is OTA so I'm thinking we just have to wait.
