I should probably set up a keyboard shortcut to post this at this point. Still no multitasking from Spotlight, or from the home screen (without finger acrobatics). To me, these are serious regressions from iOS 12 but it seems I'm one of the few who cares about those features, judging by the removal of the former from the release notes a few betas ago and the lack of response here on MR.

Time to head back the feedback app.

Anyone notice when using AirPods or CarPlay that there is a a strange click when playing music. It’s kind of like interference but just a weird clicking.

Well I installed pb2 on both my iPhone and iPad. Very impressed so far. Haven’t encountered any real issues and things feel generally very fluid. The new iPad home screen is just awesome, dark mode is slick, and at long last I can keep those stupid spam calls from bothering me!

Sorry for off-topic but how do you enable this?

I never knew of any way to disable this except for setting the weather location setting to anything other than always. Now with this beta, it is still not always but it works. :p

Is anyone else having this bug on beta 2 ?

Whenever I alter volume when TuneIn radio on , the volume HUD gets stuck on left of screen. I have too turn screen off & back on & it’s gone. If I change volume again , it sticks again. Very annoying. iPhone X

cheers

Watch battery drain fixed.? I know its a few hours just since this dropped but if it rly was 10% per hour itll show.

it is definitely fixed. Usage time vs standby time is back to normal when paired with WatchOS 5.3.x. Surprised few people complained about this major issue.

having the same exact issue on my AirPods when streaming a video on safari it’s extremely annoying I thought my AirPods were broken for a second. I literally have to restart my phone in order for it to stop and if I pause what I’m watching for any reason the crackling noise returns with no end until another restart.

Wow they still haven't fixed Spotlight multitasking in this beta? That is the one feature that I really miss on my iPad and it seriously limits what you can do and how fast you can do it.

Is it me or is the Books menu offset to the left and not centralised?

One still can't open .gpx route files in the relevant navigation app (Cyclemeter in my case). Is it up to the app developers to make their apps iOS 13 compatible by adding their actions into the share sheet? I assumed they'd carry over from iOS 12 (where it worked fine).

Likewise, I am unable to open a .gpx file in my Coros running app in order to upload to my watch. I'm pretty sure I was on iOS 13 the first time I used it, just not had to upload a file for a while.

Are we saying this is for developers to sort their apps to be iOS 13 compliant so they appear in the 'share sheet', or is it Apple's 'intelligent suggestions' not being as intelligent as we'd hope?

Anyone know? I need to know which company I should be hassling for a fix.

This should make a lot of people happy!
Indeed it does.

I’m curious about that too
Me also. It was there on iOS 12 but I can't see it on iOS 13. Asked several times here but no one could tell me.

On iOS12 it works without the need of of allways on the weather location. Only "When using app".

I care about this but not quite in the same way: the old scheme itself was not user discoverable and awkward to use, at best. My hope is that they are working on an entirely new paradigm for how to invoke multitasking in iPadOS. Maybe in 13.3.

you disable this by going into Clock app/Bedtime/Options and Turn OFF DND During Bedtime

HENCE for those asking on how to get weather on LS. Setup BedTime alarm and have this option ON, along with Weather set to While Using via Settings/Privacy/Location Services
