My Mail notifications are still working well. However, the old issue of going into the app to find the inbox isn't updated has returned.
I need to pull down to refresh.
If it stays like this - i.e. the notifications work every time but mail needs a refresh when I open the app - then whilst not 100% working it's much better than before.

Donn't know if some setting has changed in Messages. After updating to PB2 I tried sending my wife a message to her phone. After composing the message and I pressed the sent button I get no response and it would not send, the message just sat there. Same thing with PB2 on my cellular iPad. So I got my wife to send me a message from her phone (IOS 12.4) I got that and could reply. However If I compose a new message I cannot send it. Never had this issue on PB1

How are you guys still having contacts show at all in the share sheet? I’m a build behind the latest but it stopped showing on mine—not blurry, just not there at all!

I've never seen weather on my lock screen. So in order to enable this, I need to turn ON DND during bedtime and set Weather to always?
Edit: Weather no longer has an Always option.
Edit again: Weather now has an Always option, after I got two prompts on my Watch asking if I wanted to give it Always.

Has anyone mentioned that Air Quality Index is missing from the current location? I noticed my AW won’t pull it and when I checked the Weather app on my iPhone it is missing.. but from currently location only.
EDIT. It seems it may be a FL thing.. not seeing it for FL locations but do for CA. Maybe info down related to hurricane.

Yes, turn on DND at bedtime. Set weather to when using app.
The bug/complaint was that it required ‘always’ when that wasn’t an option.
Can anyone figure out WHY mail is such a continued hot mess? What on earth could they have changed up that made all off this break so bad - its mail... not a space launch.
I finally made the leap to PB 2 yesterday. It installed as I was leaving work and while I was stuck at a long light I started setup. Got to the point where it asked for my Apple ID password to get logged into iCloud and it hung. Tried again when I got home and same result so I just decided to skip it. Finished the setup process and went into settings to complete setup and continued to receive "the server could not be reached" errors.
Took a screenshot so I could come here and complain/seek help and could get MacRumors to load. Disconnected from my home WiFi and it still wouldn't load. It's strange because I was sending and receiving iMessages so I know I had some connectivity. Power cycled the phone and same result. Nothing would load in Safari and iCloud server still unreachable. Did a reset of network settings and no change so I went back to 12.4.1 and everything was fine.
Has anybody seen or heard of this happening? Any ideas what the problem could have been?

Just a heads up...this beta seems to have fixed the issue with weather not showing up on the lock screen. I still don't have the "always" option, but when I stopped my alarm this morning, the weather showed up!

1. Weather now shows up on the lock screen again, despite the fact that "always" is still not an option for location in the Settings app.
2. Optimized battery charging is working again (for me, at least). I plugged my phone in last night, it charged up to 80% and a notification popped up on the lock screen saying it would be fully charged by 4:30am.
Alright, so because my calendar is pretty clear this morning I decided to try the update again. Same issue. I think I've found what may be causing it though. In Settings, VPN is set to on but I don't have a VPN app installed. If I turn it off, VPN changes to "VPN Connecting..." and then it pops right back on.
Seriously, what is this ****? My phone is completely useless.
Edit: I can't even do an erase all content and settings because "There was an error connecting to the Apple ID server". I'd actually be really angry if it wasn't so laughably ridiculous.

Tried sending pic to non iPhone (Android) user thru Message. Popup saying unable to send unless MMS is turrned on. MMS is turned on as well as SMS if unable to send thru iMessage. Cycled settings on/off, reboot, and still same message. Anyone else experience this. XS/Verizon

Can you go into settings /vpn and delete the configuration?
The air quality where we live in Florida is much better than SoCal (OC) where we used to live. My son’s breathing issues disappeared when we moved here.. still miss SoCal but don’t miss the taxes and lack of freedom.
@H3LL5P4WN asked how to enable it. I understand that "always" is no longer an option (since at least iOS 13.0 b1)... my comment that the missing "always" was the bug/issue. I could get weather to appear on my Good Morning screen throughout the iOS 13.0/1 beta process by setting weather location to "never". The Good Morning screen would then report the weather from the first location in the list.
The bottom line is that Apple screwed the pooch on this one, but finally seems to have it sorted out...
Now, if they can just sort out the clusters**k that they created with Mail, life might be good again.

In the past it has been within a second or so and only really noticeable on Messages with larger images. This is several seconds difference.

I am wondering, no one has cited about this bug. I could able to add the contact while keeping the other call on hold, but cannot merge the calls after that.
Anyone else is having the same issue?
