App reloading is worst in this version on my XS. Battery life has also taken a knock.

Hi, is there anyone success to connect Magic Mouse 2 to iPad using this 13.3.1 version? I tried many times without success (iPad air 3).

I wonder if the mail bugs that people are facing are not actually on our devices but instead reside in the operating system running in iCloud.. or perhaps a combination of iCloudOS and iOS.

No. It’s not running in iCloud unless of course you’re using the Apple email service. And even now I can’t assume a sync worked between Apple Watch and phone. Invariably half of an email will be left on my watch when I deleted a load off my phone. (I.e. the subject is there but the body is empty). What a joke!!!

Wowsers.. that would irritate me to no end. Clearly different people are seeing different bugs - I'm only seeing one, but apparently there are many I've not suffered.

im trying to download 13.3.1 through itunes.. the speed is really slow.. 10hours or something..
what can that depend on?
my connection is good and should download it in 1-3 hours..

Is it just me or the Find My app is kind of worthless? It often updates the location of my family members for a long time and then shows the location where they were 5 hours ago.

It's definitely slower than it was but I don't get old locations like you do .

Installing on my iPhone 7+ after reading about improved battery life. Battery life had settled down nicely. From 100% to 94% typical overnight. I'd be thrilled to get better than that.

With this update, I am finally now able to search OneDrive file names in Files. Hooray!!!!

Missing: a spoonful of salt.

Your comments are greatly exaggerated and you most likely know it. iOS 13 does do a lot of things right and some things unbelievably wrong, such as the Mail issues people are facing. But calling it crapware with enough bugs to write a medium-sized book about is way over-the-top.

It is my considered opinion that most of us here face bugs when either we have apps that are going rogue on that version of iOS, or it's been really long since we installed a fresh copy of iOS and the system has somehow accumulated some bits that are interfering with its ability to perform optimally.

Beyond these two scenarios come the obvious bugs such as the Mail issue that exist even if people install fresh copies. Those are the real bugs that need fixing.
iOS 13.1, 13.2, 13.3 were rushed and fixed only major bugs.
Usually by xx.3-4 the system is solid, not this time.
Apple is in an intense rush to release new features, like better VR, that require a lot of work, and only a small amount of people may use, while important basic features like reciving mail or selecting text are unreliable.
Medium sized book may be over the top, but perhaps not, as only personally could fill two pages.
Having said that sill love iOS.

Work fine and fast here. iPad Air 3.

Well, first it seems it's gone, now it's back for me as well. Leaving the phone (i11 Pro) as it is, not using it, not having any apps installed it's loosing about 5-10% per hour.

That is really unlikely to be iOS 13. More likely some app that's gone rogue or an iOS setting that toggled on or off contrary to your prior setting. Not that these aren't a big PITA, but I doubt it's the OS itself.

My iPhone XS Max gets very warm when I’m using Safari and battery drain was never that worse like now.

One bug from previous versions came back again. I’m at the lock screen, Face ID unlocked my phone but I couldn’t swipe up to switch to the home screen.

There is no enjoyable moment anymore with iOS and my iPhone. Android sucks too and Apple does follow their way. Don’t even know why this **** is still so expensive.

Strange bug. On my XS Max, Face ID unlocks the phone and I can swipe up to get to the home screen. 13.3.1.

Did Apple Store app have dark mode in 13.3? Dark mode isn’t there for apple store anymore. Also keynote app only has dark mode. Not sure if these are bugs.

Using iPadOS

I don’t understand this new aggressive memory management. On the iPhone it’s not possible to work with multitasking. You’re writing an email in Outlook or something else in word, the same time you’re looking for something in Safari and when you come back to the previous app the app just reloads and you lose all your work. You come back to Safari and the tabs are reloading. Same on the iPad. And sometimes Safari doesn’t load some websites, network is still available. I don’t understand how Apple can be so proud about a dumb OS like iOS.

If Android wouldn’t be full of crap I would switch to it. But I don’t know how long I can work with the dumbest OS called iOS anymore.

13.3.1?

Yes. I'm trying to restore my phone with the Finder/iTunes without backup again. One last time. I've done this more than 5 times since September. If this doesn't help anymore I'm going to give up.

I was always happy with the iPhone and iOS since the iPhone 4. But since my iPhone XS Max with iOS 13 it's a real desaster and much worse than Windows Vista. And I also have problems on my Macbook Pro 2018, Apple Watch series 5 and iPad Air 3.

Yes, install fresh and see. Most likely it will be resolved.

This is not happening for me. Just tried it.
