Guys, I don’t know if you realized it, but I kind of like the new behavior of 3D Touch on the home screen. If you press then move your finger downward, it quickly enters into app wiggle mode. I thought it was actually a nice touch. This works if you do haptic touch as well, but it’s much quicker the 3D Touch way. I’m attaching a gif showing exactly what it does. I wouldn’t be too upset if 3D Touch stayed this way, because I didn’t really press and drag when using 3D Touch on the home screen. It’s easy to get a force press on an icon then let go to invoke the 3D Touch menu, in my opinion.

This is actually really undesirable behavior on iPad because there's now currently no way to drag something into multitasking from the home screen because of it. Previously if you moved an icon quickly without going into wiggle mode you could tap another to start the app, then drop the first one to go into multitasking. Now, because we go directly to wiggle mode tapping another icon just builds a stack. I have Feedback open on this.

To the people complaining about how bad this beta is, how many other betas have you tested? Other than the occasional expected glitch here and there, 13 really hasn't been that bad. I think back to anything 11 and earlier and this is a dream in comparison. A slight delay in scrolling vs a complete phone brick lol.
We see people saying that this is the worst beta build ever. I've been doing this since iOS 5 and I would not say that this is the worst ever. One time we had a build that disabled the baseband subsystem in your phone, making your phone not be a phone. That one lasted 2 hours before it was pulled and replaced the next day. That one might be the worst ever.
This one is not super bad, less quality than recent builds but nowhere near "the worst". For me I only see two really bad things.- CarPlay is dead. (in my car- a 2018 Cadillac- seems that all of the GM cars are not working) Others say it's working fine in their brand of car. And I do not get calls that ring on my watch- phone works fine.

I noticed that they updated all of the public betas but the iOS one. Maybe we will see something new after the holiday weekend.

One of the worst beta’s was last year when the GPS didn’t work. Especially on the watch!

Yep! I do not like this change.

Been driving me nuts since DB1. There is literally no way right now to initiate multitasking from anything but the dock. The Spotlight method is marked as a known issue in the release notes but there's no mention of this defect and my Feedback is marked as "Recent Similar Reports: None". Would be good if you could put in a report similar to the below, if you haven't already. I mean, I expect it will be addressed but doesn't hurt to reinforce it.

Bluetooth keyboards don’t seem to work with iPad. I have used 3 now and the space bar doesn’t work as it should. When pressed it acts as a return and not a space. Have to hold down shift and space to work. I tried with my iPhone on 12.1.2 and another iPad on 12 and it works as it should. Such a bummer for now.

All my incoming calls are being diverted to voicemail.

Tried rebooting and resetting network settings. Tried to call from different carriers.

Still cannot receive calls.

Might have to revert back to iOS 12.

I decided to downgrade to 12.4 beta. Not because of bugs, but to prepare for Apple Card. I’ll update back to iOS 13 when the Apple Card is activated.

My phone’s been doing this weird animation on the top bar icons when switching colours from light to dark. It does this slide in animation instead of the fade in/out like in the previous iOS

That definitely makes sense. Hopefully they can figure out a way to make us both happy.

Coming back from landscape mode :)

Very interesting. Possibly more finger friendly.

Not just downward. It can be done upwards and sideways too.

Run all 3 beta the mobile data from my SE still in blank and black!
I changed back to white, still blank!

Any ideas! Please help

Still no beta for the 7 or 7 plus. Probably will have to wait for beta 4.

Indeed, wonder if the Public Beta will be delayed in the same way?

All my incoming calls are being diverted to voicemail . . .

Mine is totally random. Some calls are going straight to voicemail even in good signal areas, others are coming through.

Definitely a Beta issue though as it wasn’t a problem on iOS 12 as you say.

So, I know that PB3 isn't available for the 7 or 7+, but I have an 8+ and can't D/L PB3. I still have PB2 showing on my phone. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to delete the profile and reload it? Thanks in advance

As a side note, I can't D/L PB3 on my iPad Pro either. (original iPad Pro)

After a few days with dev beta 3, my iPad Pro 12.9 (latest gen) is performing slower and slower. Loads of apps are very sluggish (YouTube for example sometimes just gets stuck while playing a video). Worst performance I've seen in any beta so far. It makes further testing almost impossible.

Same on my 8 plus!!!

YouTube and the Target app are non-responsive at times. It wasn’t like that on beta 2, so I wonder what changed.

I'm getting similar experiences with other apps, even stock apps. I also saw a benchmark that showed multi-core scores plummeted on this beta for some reason.
