I'm really afraid they're going to push this to iOS 13.1 :-(

I installed beta 5 without reading the comments first and was so bummed to find out the automations are gone. I had loads of them set up and was getting used to them. One of the biggest iOS13 features if you ask me.
In beta 6 they removed even more features from Shortcuts. Before you could have a shortcut that started a specific app on Apple TV. I now get a message that this feature is not available anymore.

If you sync your iphone via finder/itunes, the „other“ storage will be free. Thats beta junk and cache and stuff. Just sync

tried that and didn’t help. I suspect analytics data is corrupt or something cuz when I click on it inside the settings, my settings app crashes immediately too

I get the message that it is "not currently available". That at least gives me hope that it will be back. I haven't been able to use it for anything more than the TV app as I have not installed the tvOS beta, but I had a shortcut ready to go for when I either install the beta or public release.

As a general note, it seems as if there are problems with automations in general with Shortcuts. The location ones tied to HomeKit seem fine and are still running for me, at least as of Beta 5, despite the capability for creating them being removed from Shortcuts. They are still present in the Automation tab of HomeKit.

I had issues creating time based automations that actually worked and did so without having to acknowledge a Shortcuts notification. I'm hoping they pulled these only to re-tool them and that they will be back by public release or, at latest, 13.1.

My iPhone didn’t charge at all last night because my extension cable came slightly undone so I woke up to a full night of discharge. Check the battery graph for not great results. It almost died in 7 hours.

To clarify: The peak on the left is where I unplugged it after waking up yesterday morning and the gradual decline is where I was using it pretty heavily. The peak on the right is where I charged it before bed and then at some point it unplugged itself enough to drain (second gradual decline).

I’m pretty sure its some system process that’s eating it alive as the apps are minimal in their usage overnight. I do have backgrounding on and am using Lockdown’s VPN. I wish Apple would report iCloud goings on so I would know if my photo library was being reuploaded or something.

I’ll try a reboot and probably reset network settings.

Sounding like a broken record here but email is still total . Anything more complex than a text only email to grandma and Who knows what its going to do. I was able to reply in an email thread earlier today, but now doing the same thing in the same thread and the app I like a deer in headlights. It’s not even downloading full messages.

I know it’s a beta and dependent upon personal use but 6 betas in now and its as broken as B1 to me. Just surprising as I recall betas having more noticeable improvement from one to another but these last couple are trash in several areas. Hell even battery usage is taking a nose dive.

I always use a (complete) black wallpaper on my XS Max home screen and now with the "new" darker coloring of folders it looks pretty strange, kind of like nine mini icons sitting on the home screen where each folder resides. Try it with a black background to see it.

What is the general opinion here, is it a bug or feature?

GM isn't for another month, at minimum. There will probably be 3 more betas before a GM candidate.
Yeah and through 6 betas we haven’t seem much improvement, if any, in several areas so there’s some doubt that the GM will be anywhere close to previous iOS GMs in terms of stability.

Has anyone else been having continuous drops in network connectivity. In the last couple of betas I keep looking all cellular even though I am showing a full 4G (UK) signal in the status bar. To fix I toggle off 4G and it switches to 3g and is OK. My network, Vodafone UK don't think its an issue their and and haven't had any reports of issues with iOS13 - wondering if its my handset as its only a month old. iPhone XR... going to revert back to 12.4 tonight and see if that does in fact fix the issue. Seems to have only been the last couple of weeks and maybe last 2 betas.

How are they going to release the Public Beta with this whole AW beta requirement? Seems like it’s going to cause several people to have to stay on Beta 5 or unknowingly screw up their watch connecting. It was a dumb move by Apple.

I also use a completely black home screen wallpaper and, yes, it looks pretty strange with the new folders. At first I thought it was a bug, but now I’m not so sure...

Wow... seems a lot of the bugfixes from beta 5 have been rolled back in beta 6. This doesn't look good at all and if we get another iOS 11 GM, it's not gonna be good PR for Apple.

One example that I've just discovered is the highlight of the "Private" button in Safari tabs. In beta 4 (and older) it was misaligned, in beta 5 it was fixed and now in beta 6 it is misaligned again.

Got my Apple Card set up today!! Very painless, took all of 3 minutes to do. One wierd thing is the card is all white? and not that translucent color you see in the ads

The mail app is a desaster. And it always was. I want to switch to Outlook but it doesn’t have dark mode and no support for local calendars.

Did you have an iOS 13 Beta 6 bug fix, change or improvement to discuss?

Thanks for the constructive feedback, very helpful. There are numerous post about the card, I was merely letting people know that it works fine on IOS 13. So yes, the availability of the card could be seen as either a change or improvement depending on your view point.

I don’t see that. Do you have a picture?
