I hope we get a new beta soon, because although this one is very stable under normal conditions, it gets hella flaky when your storage is low, and appears to purge preferences and login credentials from apps. It got to the point where Activation Lock came up last night when I turned my phone off and on.

Had the same issue yesterday. I have a 16GB iPhone 6S and it filled up. Hardly anything worked. I couldn't offload any apps and I couldn't sync to my laptop (which I knew would move over the beta/diagnostics logs and free up space). I got the iMessage app on the lock screen with play/pause/rew/ff buttons, and once I saw that the phone thought iMessage was a music app I took a screenshot so I could send it to apple to cheer them up and ... that pushed my phone over the edge.

It crashed.

It rebooted.

It came up welcoming me to Apple and then requesting an activation unlock. Then it went through the language setup etc. and asked me if I wanted to restore from a backup. I tried (even though it was 4 days old and was sure it wouldn't work due to the beta status) and sure enough it failed. I sighed. I pressed "set up as new" as the only option left available and waited for the inevitable blank phone. Nope! It opened and everything was back to normal. Normal-ish. I deleted a couple of apps (as offloading still crashed) and then did a sync to my laptop. That cleared up around 2GB of logs. All back to normal.

Now I regret not being able to play iMessages as music :)

Yup. I was dreading the whole setup from fresh thing... and there was all my stuff just like normal. lol. I submitted a report to Apple using the Feedback Assistant, so hopefully that gives them enough diagnostic data to nail down the bug.

People ask "Why would you install a beta like that?", but edge case scenarios like ours can be invaluable for testing.

RBC app was updated but unfortunately still crashes on login. Knowing them, they probably won’t fix it until iOS 13 official release.

Found a visual bug, can anybody reproduce?

- Open the share sheet anywhere
- Click the „More“ icon in the apps row
- Click edit
- Toggle a few apps off (or on) at the top
- Scroll down so the apps are no longer on screen
- Scroll back up and the toggles state has reversed to the initial state BUT still reflects the actual value you picked (so if the app was turned on and you turned it off, it shows on but is actually off when you save)

Also, the „Edit actions...“ button in the Now Playing share sheet does not work for me. -> this seems to be on/off and not limited to the now playing share sheet.

The share sheet apps row has a forced Books icon you can‘t disable in „More“ (for sheets that support it, eg. photos app).

(reported all of these with screens and videos)

I mean if you turned on the airplane mode it didn’t “disabled” the Bluetooth. Tried it on iOS 12, Doesn't works the same as ios 13.
I'm pretty sure iOS 12 does work the same way. If you turn on Airplane mode and then turn on Bluetooth (and/or WiFi) and leave it on until you turn Airplane mode off, then the next time you go into Airplane mode it'll leave on whatever you had on previously.

I have a new one with Mail in Beta 7:

All of my new emails are now at the bottom of my list in "All Inboxes" with old emails at the top.... then I force close the app and it goes back to normal with new emails on top.... As soon as I receive a new email it goes back to the bottom again and all subsequent emails go to the bottom until I force close the app again. Very odd bug.... I don't I remember seeing anyone with this one here. Anyhow i reported it.

just pull down from the middle of the home screen.

thank you
I haven’t tried this on my phone yet as it’s my only phone but on iPad Pro this has been working really well. I haven’t t found anything yet that doesn’t work.

Any of you using a max on tmo? If so, how’s it been?

"still can't use camera and home screen from lock screen when will this be fixed on X"

I find that a hard press with hepatic touch opens mine on an XS.

Hi, I’m new to iOS 13 and installed b7 yesterday. Has anyone had any issues with attachments in messages disappearing? When I select a message from a contact and press the info button, all attachments from that contact is gone???

Gone as in gone forever? Or does an app restart bring the attachments back?

Dictation doesn’t work anymore. And I cannot report bugs in the feedback app.
One of my betas disabled Dictation and I had to turn it back on in Settings / General / Keyboards. I only noticed it as I have a shortcut that does language translations and it stopped working as it refused to listen to me ;)

Anybody else seeing this on iPad Pro lock screen?
