One of my betas disabled Dictation and I had to turn it back on in Settings / General / Keyboards. I only noticed it as I have a shortcut that does language translations and it stopped working as it refused to listen to me ;)
I’ve just recognized that it does only work in the spotlight search

Solid build. Very close to gm quality. iP8

Nope, Mail (despite several others’ claim to the contrary) is still plagued by tons of bugs and problems - notably the ‘read’ indicators don’t go away, and when launching Mail the message view either remains empty, or when it displays the combined inbox, the top display is corrupted as it overlays several text layers.

Eh, Mail app is still acting wonky for me.

Aside from Mail, none of my issues and bug reports from the last beta have been addressed. Grr.

Join the club. I have had big reports dating back to iOS 7 that have yet to be addressed. Major issues keep being ignored during beta feedback - sadly, we no longer have access to radar, which would show you the status of a big report.

This was probably removed since most people could check and verify that many bug reports had never even been acknowledged during that time. Way to fix that problem.

Seem to be experiencing some of those touch screen issues in iPadOS. Was using Procreate yesterday and was unable to swipe to another app using the "home" bar at the bottom (and it was greyed out). Also, having a lot of issues selecting actions in Shortcuts to edit. Have to hit it about 5 or 6 times before the action "token" becomes active. Quite frustrating. Will report.

My thoughts after a few days of use.....

- Overall it's not perfect but it can be used on my daily driver.
- Yes mail is buggy, but nothing that can't be worked around.
- I love having my garage door show up in CarPlay when I approach the house, I really hope this doesn't get removed.
- I haven't found a app yet that doesn't work, some minor bugs but nothing earth shattering.
- Battery life has been pretty darn good, especially on standby.

I know that this is not the final release . But iOS has become very slow compared with other brands . I’ve got a Xs max and this beta is good but from iOS 12 and now iOS 13, my Xs max is stuttering, lagging , freezing , lte and wi-fi drops and the software is slow , is feeling slow , animations are slow .. what is happening . It just not works ...

I would say that your experience is not typical of most users' experiences as related here. Some have some of the issues you are describing, but I don't know that I've seen anyone relate all of those issues in one device. You may want to reinstall it clean to see if that helps. You might also try resetting your phone first, to see if that helps. But this definitely does not seem to be the majority experience.

I have a new one with Mail in Beta 7:

All of my new emails are now at the bottom of my list in "All Inboxes" with old emails at the top.... then I force close the app and it goes back to normal with new emails on top.... As soon as I receive a new email it goes back to the bottom again and all subsequent emails go to the bottom until I force close the app again. Very odd bug.... I don't I remember seeing anyone with this one here. Anyhow i reported it.

I had this same exact issue, and that’s what prompted me to try removing the mail app, rebooted, and reinstalled Mail from the App Store. After adding my accounts back, ALL of my emails showed No Sender/No Subject. And that’s for all 6 of my email accounts (iCloud, 3 Gmail accounts, a Yahoo account, & an IMAP account). Sooooo, I filed a radar and it gets marked with the “more than 10 people have reported this” tag at the top. Meanwhile I’m stuck having to use Spark because I’m literally unable to search any of my folders for a person’s name. Can’t search for anything that could be in the subject line. There’s no way I can really use the Mail app at all. I’d use the Outlook app but I use that just for work email. Nice keeping that separate.

Sorry, the 6th email account is my old @msn account....

Twitter is broken. There are some tweets where you see the full tweet when someone else retweets or quote tweets it but when you tap on the tweet itself words are cut off.

oops....I see this has already been reported.

These are the location settings on my 10.5" iPad Pro
Hmm Interesting indeed.

For the past few betas, I've been getting an account error with my AOL account. after refreshing a few times it'll work. Anyone else?
I don't think the other guy that still uses AOL email frequents these forums. His 386sx and 2400 baud modem doesn't work well here with all these ads. JK, couldn't resist :D

Yeah mine too. I reported it to Twitter too. You can’t see the full text when you click the tweet

Gone as in gone forever? Or does an app restart bring the attachments back?
I can see them inside the text message but when I press the info button on the contact name they are not visible as they are in iOS 12.4. I tried to do an app refresh but its the same =(

Gone back to iOS 12, mail in the beta is a bag of spanners. Empty message lists, slow to update if at all, slow to load messages or expand threads. Back on 12 and it is super slick again. Gonna wait for Gold before I test again.

Currently what all is accessible to a developer account ?

Still more issues with stock mail app.
Have tried removing and adding, tried removing the app then adding, all to no avail. After inactivity for greater than one hour, I get the following:
D8DB817B-E26A-4641-93F4-7CBE1B1FE043.jpeg
It only goes away after I go into each account individually. btw - when I go into the account, everything looks great.

This is only happening on my XS Max and only from the main mail menu.

Well, when I put a piece of electrical tape over the warning light on my car's dashboard, the reported problem doesn't seem quite as annoying or critical... :D

Since beta 7 networking (cell or WiFi) has been unreliable or not working at all. Often if I switch to Safari and hit CNN or something and go back to whatever app I was on (Apollo, weather, mail, anything) - it works for a minute or so.
I’ve reset network settings and rebooted with no effect.

What’s the best, safest way to drop back to iOS 12? I’ve always hopped on the beta train with Beta 1 and have never rolled back before.

Asking more out of curiosity, since I can stick this out for another month, even though it’s still pretty buggy. I’m actually sort of worried that iOS 13 still has this many issues with only a month to go.

Best way is to use iTunes to “Update” using iOS 12 IPSW so you can retain all your existing data. Just make sure to do full backup before attempting.

Since updating to this beta, I've had problems with my HomePods. The main one is, Siri will no longer set timers for me. Siri says, "There was a problem with your timer requests. Please try again in a minute." I get that every time, except once when I unplugged one of the HomePods, then plugged it back in. Siri set one timer for me, then stopped again. I've removed the one in the kitchen and repaired it, to no avail. I restarted my AirPort Extreme; no luck there, either. (AirPort Utilities app crashes immediately after enter my password and tapping enter.)

The HomePods are not on a beta but rather the most recent HomePod OS. The HomePods were fine on other beta releases. Hopefully the next beta will sort it out again.

Yeah I’m having issues with reminders I’m sure it’s cos we need the HomePod 13 update

Seems that issues with WiFi whilst using FaceTime still occur.

After a random period the WiFi disconnects and the only way to reconnect is end the call.
