Pretty sure the text for the Dark Mode toggle in control centre saying “Dark Mode on/off” is new.

Beta 6

Mail is still a dumpster fire for me with Exchange accounts. Messages don't load properly, the tableview is full of blank rows and messages not appearing on time. It doesn't feel like it's gotten any better for me the past few betas.

I just received a reply from Apple regarding some Mail feedback that I’d submitted, asking if I’m still having issues because “we’ve made substantial improvements with this beta.”

I laughed out loud.

Will add it to OP too but still no multitasking from Spotlight, still no multitasking from home screen. Starting to think it's not going to make it and these are significant usability regressions for iPad vs. iOS 12.

Grrr...still getting the gray Messages screen in Slide Over.
I was as well, but then I went to messages itself (not in slide over), quit the app, and then reopened it. Now it seems to work in slide over (at least for now)
Your solution seems to be working for me for now as well.. Fingers crossed it stays this way. Thanks for the tip!

Edit: Spoke too soon. It’s broken again. Ugh.

SMB in Files broken again for anyone else? My existing connection, that worked in the last beta after having been gone for a few, came up blank. I removed it from the left and reconnected with no errors, but no drive/connection shown, just like when it was broken before.

Safari private mode the address bar is also dark grey now along with the verbiage telling you that you are in private mode. The verbiage has been there but the address bar has changed in beta 7

For me, mail's been improved in b7 but there are still issues with new emails coming in but not showing in the unified inbox and some new emails not being marked as read after reading them. However, I'm no longer getting the blank screen or forever 'loading' indicator when opening emails.
This is mostly with hotmail and my work exchange accounts.

Still unable to change the default location for the weather widget on iPadOS.

Speaking of widgets, maybe I just didn't notice this before but there seems to be a new "Pinned Favorites" in addition to "Favorites" when editing the widgets/Today View (again, iPadOs).
Try to go into settings>privacy>location settings and select weather. Then and change to "ask next time" and or "while using app". That makes it work for me.

[Edit] Not exactly default location but MY location not Cupertino. Sorry no default option.

I show a connection, but no files. I'm not sure it's a 'real' connection.

As said earlier. I’ve already tried that and it don’t work. :(
While it’s working a lot better now, sometimes it shows I have emails and I open the app and there are none. I force close the app, open it again and they show up. Maybe a problem with Apple’s email server not fetching email properly. I had problems on iOS 12 with email as well. I hope it gets fixed on the next beta since it’s getting better (well at least for me).

Scratch This - It's Still Broken

In the "Find My" app, I can change the label now. In Beta 6, when my boyfriend was in a particular place it would say "Work." I tried to change it and was unable to. Now I am able to change the label to "None." It seems fixed.

That's the way my existing connection I set up in the last beta looked. If you remove that and reconnect, does it just fail to appear completely?
