That being said, I’m still satisfied they made improvements to accommodate the bigger screen and what a tablet is made to do instead of having a zoomed in iPhone with the iPad name slapped to it.

Yes, don't get me wrong, I'm not doom and gloom on iOS/iPadOS 13 in general, just disappointed that these pieces of functionality that really do differentiate from iOS/iPhone seem to be gone, so far at least. It's a significant functional regression from iOS 12 if it stays that way imo.

Right, just because they are announced in September they may not ship till Mid October. They will surely ship with IOS13

When you 3D touch / haptic touch the avatar, it pops out a context menu. That crashes if you do it a few times (or on first try, depending on your luck).

Photos app still crashes for me when i scroll all the way up or scroll by tapping on the top of the screen.
I have a weird bug since iOS 11 that when i open HDR photo the animation stutters quite much. Reported it everytime and here we are with iOS 13 and it's still here.
In beta 7 i had a bug that my keyboard was invisible. I still was able to type but i didn't see the keyboard, reported and let's see if it comes back.

8 betas later and I still cannot delete images in Messages .... first, they forgot the „delete“ button. Now that came back with beta 7 but when I try to delete attached images, they are either right back after going back into the conversation or it’s not doing anything at all.

How do I get my space back ... !

Pages isn't part of iOS 13

I have the same issue with photos when scrolling to the top. Just filed the report now

I was so excited for announce messages in AirPods used it in the gym all the time at the start of the beta program, I wonder why they toke it away

Don't mean to be cute here, but probably because it was not working as expected. I reported that it was not working for Gen 1 AirPods and they responded that many others also reported this and that it was being worked on (they did not say it was not a feature for Gen 1, which was the other possibility). So that was one problem. There may have been many others.

At some point, but it's not directly related to iOS.

It's not "newly independent"; in every way except its marketing name it is still very much iOS. iOS and iPadOS have the same build numbers for a reason.

Really? I didn't realize I could do split screen on my Phone. Just because they have the same build does not make them the same thing. Clearly there are features in the iPad that are not available on the iPhone. They had to start somewhere.

Pages (and the other iWork apps) are typically updated independently.

This may be an exercise in futility, but I’m thinking about doing a factory reset and setting up my phone as new this evening to see if any of my issues go away.

Either that, or roll back to iOS 12.4 - I just can’t believe how many bugs are still present in the *eighth* beta of iOS 13.

3D Touch crashes it for me. I cannot reproduce the crash if I simply "haptic touch" aka hold, not press.

Actually, it will likely be 10 days after announcement. The cadence is usually announce on Tuesday, pre-order on early Friday morning (3 days later) and pre-orders arrive beginning Friday (10 days after announcement).

I can tell you they worked great with AirPods 2 and the PowerBeats Pro's. Definitely missing this feature.

When I reported my AirPods (Gen 1) not working, I fully expected a response that the feature was not available. Other than iMore, no one reported that this was supposed to work with Gen 1. So, I was pleasantly surprised that this was still a possibility, but, of course, that's all it remains...

I read you'll have to do a restore to get the faster launch times and smaller sizes.

The release notes for some previous betas have always included Gen1 AirPods, in addition to Gen2 plus PowerBeats Pro.
