I love these one word assertions: "Today", "Yes". They aren't any more factual with brevity.

Don't see it happening. Profile issues, shipment issues, etc...

I find this whole situation very weird. Historically (iOS 12 and 11 at least) the last beta was the same build as the GM.
How can they leave iOS 13 Beta users on this unpolished build and force them to upgrade to another, even more unpolished one? Unless iOS 13 Beta 8 is technically the GM but... a GM where 3d touching a profile picture crashes Messages? Really?

Only iOS 12 was a similar build number. iOS 11 and earlier wasn’t the same.

Beta 8 seems mostly fine to me. Better than a lot of final betas before GM that’s for sure.

13.0 beta 9 today

Nah, we’re done with iOS 13.0 dev betas, Steve Troughton-Smith confirms that it barely crossed the line for release. So it’s gonna be 13.1 betas from here on out. He knows his stuff.

With beta 1 yesterday , you think it could be ready in 3 weeks?
I think it has to be. Conceivably, most of it might just be adding back in the previously removed features, which already have some mileage on them, testing-wise. The fact that they released a PB 1 day after DB1 shows how quickly they are moving. That, plus the potential backup hiccups for people on the public beta if the new phones don't have 13.1 on them nearly immediately:

"Hello, new iPhone 11 user! Set your phone up using your backup from your old phone. Oh...yeah...right! Nevermind!"

Though, this may be the reason for the new settings and device data transfer system (peer to peer vs iCloud).

Wow. I think this virtually guarantees that 13.1 will be a zero day update for the new phones.

While something like that is a possibility, it seems that the more usual possibility of iOS 13.0 being released and 13.1 being released sometime later (as it goes through its beta process and becomes ready in the next month or two or so) is still there.

That's a point does the peer to peer transfer care about the iOS versions on the devices? Has anyone tested transferring from a iOS 13 device to one running 12.4?

What’s everyone’s guess for Beta 2 13.1? This whole beta cycle has been crazy, no rhyme or reason.

Put me down as agreeing that 13.1 will release on iPhone release day. Only thing that makes sense out of .1 betas before release to me.
