This particular point release can’t be compared to former point releases. The biggest difference is that it adds features already tested. Hence, it doesn’t need the test period that you imply.

I think you’ll find that there are previous point releases, that has features added back in, that were removed from a x.0 Beta. Plus adding them back in still needs thorough testing.

So you’re a bit flawed there.

Except Apple has had up to 250+ builds with which to test these features. So while you may be correct, I wouldn’t necessarily call other positions “flawed”.

If that was the case, then why bother with public beta.

I can when the logic and precedent doesn’t support it.

Can updates come out on Labour Day? Sorry I’m in the UK and never heard of it but saw it’s a holiday

corporate offices are closed as it’s a major holiday. So most likely not, unless they make people come in for a show stopping bug.

This is a good thing. We all predicted future behavior based off of past data points. In a week or so, this will be a data point for us to draw upon if this occurs again.

I think they will release beta 8 as GM and will release 13.1 shorty after that.
They‘ll never release 13.0 to the public, they go straight to 13.1. It makes too much sense when you look at the tariffs situation (Apple probably flashed the new phones with 13.0b8 already and shipped them out of china to avoid tariffs).
