I think iOS 13.1 will be the GM for iOS 13 release since there are only one iOS 13 beta profile and Apple will seed the GM next Tuesday to the devices have the iOS 13 beta profile. As we all know, it is impossible to downgrade via OTA (,and wiping the whole device storage). Therefore, the GM build must have a build number same as or ahead of the iOS 13.1 beta 2 build number.

Moreover, 13.1 betas have "A" in the build number unlike the previous X.1 betas that have "B" in the build number. It indicates that 13.1 betas are in the same branch with the iOS 13.0 betas.

Probably, iOS 13.1 will be the release. This seems like unusual but 10.0.1 was the GM for iOS 10. Naming the release 13.1 makes sense because there are features such as Automations packed into 13.1 which were disabled in iOS 13.0.

We will see next week, as the GM Will be out on 10th.

People on the developer and public beta are warned not to run it on their main device. So, if Apple releases 13.0, then people on 13.1 beta 2 could either wipe and go in 13.0 or stick with 13.1 beta until 13.1 comes out.

There is about 2 actual features being added back in, and they’re not big really. That’s by the by, though.

Yes. Will see how it is tomorrow. As I said, it’s never happened before, and it’s very odd that it was all from whilst it was not in use, yet it drained like that.
was my fave feature so angry its not here now, wonder why

Another indicator of release date in an email just received from AMEX:

"Unfortunately we will be switching off our iPad App from 19th September.
We know you have previously been enjoying the iPad App, but due to recent upgrades out of our control the App will no longer be compatible, and we recommend that you switch over to the iPhone App."

Of course the iPhone App is not currently universal.... :(

However, the GM should be available much before that. I hope to be on the iOS 13 GM next week.

I won’t be touching the iOS/iPadOS 13.1 betas on my main iDevices.

13.1 will likely not be the GM. It’s going to be 13.0 beta 8 (or slightly later).

What if they won't release any public version of iOS 13 in September and wait for October when 13.1 will be ready?

And why would they do that? iOS 13.1 is a normal evolutionary step to iOS 13.0 with a few minor re-added features. IMO, they will release iOS 13.0 around 17 September (a week after the iPhone event) and then continue polishing iOS 13.1 until it is ready.

The GM will appear before the official release.

Don't forget iPhone X was released November 3, 2017... Late so it's a possibility... Hopefully not thou... :(

Guess my sarcasm didn't come through... That was rumored long before launch and the 8 and 8+ came out in September that year on-time. Apple will not delay the iPhone because they want to include a few minor features in iOS 13, however, it's definitely possible that they'd delay those features and release the new iPhone's without them.

nah, Apple won’t delay the launch of the iPhone 11 because of the iOS. But I’m sayin anything can happen with Apple. ;)

iPhones likely have already been boxed up days ago with the iOS 13.0 GM or a slightly different 13.0 build.

They won’t ship with iOS 12, and it’s far too early for them to be packaged with 13.1.

But if the rumors are true that Apple is 2 to 3 weeks ahead of builds .. who knows what ios will be on the new phones

It’ll be the same GM that’s being released on the 10th after the event, so Developers can get their apps signed off and submitted to App Store, so they can come out with the public release of iOS 13 the week of the 16th
