if you read the press release for the ipad 10.2"

it says the following...

iPadOS ships for free with the new seventh-generation iPad and will be available as a free software update on September 30 for iPad Air 2 and later, all iPad Pro models, iPad 5th generation and later, and iPad mini 4 and later.

So iPadOS13 is not being released till the 30th. question is when is iOS13 being released then?

Epic fail to not even mention OS release dates during the keynote like in the past. If you are not buying any new products- that's all you wanted to hear today. Starting & spending so much time on baby games on a cell phone was also disappointing. I'll skip the next keynote & read highlights later. Wasted almost 3 hours...

It's nice that Apple is communicating that features promised for iOS 13 at WWDC are still being delivered fairly timely, with iOS 13.1 being released less than 2 weeks after the public release of iOS 13.0.

Much better than how they handled iCloud Messages, which was supposed to come in iOS 11.0 and took almost a full year to deliver in iOS 11.4.
