Looks like Catalina isn't coming until sometime in October. Wonder if we get another event with the MacPro / ProDisplay and more stuff sometime next month.

Most likely yeah. There was absolutely no mention of any type of Mac at this event.

Plus Catalina needs a lot more development.

Oh, ok. We've all spiked the ball. Time to move on.

Predicting 13.1 beta 3 at 4pm EDT
I would assume we'd have to get something today. Especially since they said it'll be out on the 30th. I personally haven't really had any issues with 13.1 since beta 2 came out, but a few more before the 30th wouldn't hurt! And we should also start seeing compatibility updates for apps start flowing in now...

iOS/iPadOS 13 features coming “later this fall” (not Sept. 30th)
AirPods audio sharing
HomeKit Secure Video & routers
iCloud Drive folder sharing
HomePod/AirPlay 2 in scenes & automations
Image Capture API
Screen Time communication limits

Quite a lot held back this year.

There won’t be iOS 13 GM since the developer profile provides the latest beta of 13 branch which is iOS 13.1 betas. I think the next seed will be iOS 13.1 beta 3 which may or may not come this week.

So much for all the theories of 13.0 never getting publicly released and 13.1 being the first official iOS 13 release being passed off as something that was beyond obvious and basically a given that was proven by something or other.

You know, I do have to reply to this: it was never beyond obvious, but there was sound logic behind the thinking, starting with the absolutely unprecedented step of releasing a beta before the prior version was released. That turned out not to be the case but came about as close as you can come. And in the case of the iPad, it appears to be true.

There was so much mental gymnastics in the past few days, including claims 13.1 Beta 2 was more like 13.0 Beta 9.

I agree about there being some logic to it and all that, making it a viable theory, but there have certainly been a variety of posts presenting it as much more than that and essentially almost as a fact of some sort and that it would somehow be silly to think otherwise.

You know, why don't you give it a rest. Its not like this has been anything like a normal beta season. I could argue that having a full fledged 13.1 released 11 days after 13.0 actually reinforces this claim.

I'm ready to move on. I was gracious about this and some of you clearly can't do the same.
