iOS 14.3 Beta 2 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Two notes about the discussion here:

1) I am sure that Apple is working on the issue with messaging. I do not believe that they are ignoring it. But things take time. And they take the time that they take. It will be fixed as fast as possible.

2) The 5G issue with dual sims is a Qualcomm issue and not a Apple issue. Apple is waiting for Qualcomm just like we are. Qualcomm has promised a fix by the end of the year. We shall see if they deliver it.

On beta 2, hardware keyboard reverted to qwerty from colemak. Can’t seem to change to colemak or any other non-standard layouts. anyone else?
 
So apple 🍏 music lyrics broken 😠 in this beta? Idk I’m new to Apple Music
 
New Mail issue this morning ...
Same accounts in Mail on my 12 PM and IPP 11
12 PM shows badge for 21 - IPP 11 shows badge for 71
Manual refresh of both devices
12 PM shows badge for 65 - IPP 11 shows badge for 71

12 PM in Mail accounts add up to 65
IPP 11 in Mail accounts add up to 71

Turns out the IPP had 6 emails in a Gmail account showing as Unread that had been deleted earlier on my 12 PM.

Seems like the IPP 11 is updating the badge correctly based on the Mail internal count. The 12 PM is not showing this same accuracy. Settings are the same.

Update: On the advice of a peer I hard rebooted both devices. After reboot and unlock both are reading the same. Have to see if it stays that way. 🤞

Mail issue. This may have existed with Beta 1 - I did not check during Beta 1.
12 ProMax

Have an email with a phone number and a link embedded in an email.
I can click on the link, I get a warning / alert, select continue and Safari opens to the linked page.
I can click on the phone number, I get the same warning / alert as the web link, click continue and it tries to open the phone number in Safari instead of Phone.

I know I have dialed from within an email in the past. Not sure when this changed.

Not new. This has been present since 14.0. Edit: You can activate it 1 of 3 ways: 1) Have a sleep schedule set up and it will turn on when your sleep schedule starts; 2) Activate bedtime mode from the control center; 3) Activate bedtime mode from your Apple Watch.
 
So no one having issues with the latest Apple tvOS where the remote no longer works especially with a universal remote such as Bose? I have to keep on resetting every time before I start using Apple TV.

I have a sleep schedule set up and have never seen my watch charging status on that screen.

Could be. I even checked again last night and I just don’t see it whether I set bedtime manually or scheduled. Maybe I will see it on the next version. (So as to not derail the thread, I should just say that I am on 14.2, and will leave it there)

there is a 1 sce lag after passcode keying before the screen unlocks. is it fixed in his beta? Happens when u leave the phone idle more than 30secs and you unlock
 
Is the keyboard volume fixed? The fluctuation... Usually the volume is low after you start to write then it gradually increse and gets louder.

or does this fix the weird lock sound after using MagSafe accessories?
