Anyone having issues with Outlook email accounts using the stock mail app? Not loading, errors etc. Cheers.
Not here. I have an outlook.com and work exchange mail accounts setup in Mail and both are working fine for me. I've occasionally gotten the error message on the bottom of mail but a pulldown-refresh clears it, unless MS services are down. This has been happening to me since forever and not a 14.3 issue.

Thanks. It’s now working again but I just can’t search in most of the folders, it doesn’t come back with anything.

I’ve just removed and re-added the account. It’s got tens of thousands of emails. Can’t search still but maybe it takes time to index the mail...?

I use the Outlook app, with work email Office 365 working without issue (other than the known re enter password one)

I think it takes a little time to index before you can search properly.

The weird lock sound is still present. Is that so hard to fix?!! If that’s hard, what to think about mail stock app, for instance?

Maybe. Some folders instantly show results and others won’t no matter how long it’s left for. I think this is only happened since 14.3. It’s still working fine on my iPad which is on 14.2

I just tested searching in Mail and got results back in May so it seems to be working fine for me. My Mail sync settings is set to 1 month but it seemed to search the server fine.
I don't use Mail search often for old emails on my phone as I find it easier to do that on my Mac instead.

Yep, but had errors on the same account on my two PC’s today. One using Windows Mail and one using EMClient. Windows pop up said their was an issue that needed to be fixed. So I let it.

iPhone 12 performance on iOS 14.3 RC 2 is still bad.

Whole phone feels slower. Animations are laggy/jerky. Not happy with 14.3 at all. The 12’s performance should not feel like this with such a powerful CPU.

I have found my Gmail app badge to accurately represent the number of emails in the account so far. Never once wrong. But, it is possible that it might be that I receive very few emails in that Gmail account, maybe 3-4 a month, and usually all of them in one day when I make some transactions that send emails to that ID. People might be having issues with a larger unread count or a more frequent email reception than mine.

My one Gmail account avgs 100 a day. I have to agree, the Gmail app is usually spot on.
That account is my "email for online shopping signups" and similar items.

Not having any problem with gmail. It is the only account I use to receive my email as all my other accounts are forwarded to gmail. Has been completely accurate throughout the beta process and RC’s. Gmail has been awesome even thru all the email issues during the ios13 betas.

OK let me clarify. Gmail in the iOS mail app is where push no longer works. As I said, it DOES work in the Gmail app and yes its always spot on. There was a change years ago (I believe it was a licensing issue) that Apples app stopped supporting push with Gmail. Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier.

Thanks. I have mine set to download everything. And there is about 20 years worth! It’s strange because some folders search instantly and some just come back with no results.

I’ve just changed mine to download one month and it still doesn’t search and it’s clearly not checking on the server because it says no results instantly. This is in my personal Microsoft outlook account. And I set it up as a Microsoft outlook account as opposed to an exchange account. Are you referring to your Microsoft account as well? How do you get it to search on the server?

I thought everyone had given up with the stock mail app. I still use it - one Exchange (365) account and one iCloud account. Issues since iOS 13b1. But I have to admit the Exchange account isn’t an issue with me. It is the iCloud account - always updates but can take up to 20 seconds or so to do so. Pain in the proverbial.
I actually gave up trying to download all my old emails, and now have them set to just download the most recent month. I can always change the setting if I need something much older.
it does seem that the stock mail apps on both iOS and Mac have trouble with huge files with many years of data. I don’t think they were ever built for that...... no excuse for Apple not fixing them though 😑

It's both my personal outlook.com and work exchange accounts. If it doesn't find anything that's local, it will automatically start looking on the server and display emails if it finds any. Now I have no idea if it's display all emails but emails show up. It takes a few seconds on fast WiFi for them to show though. If I remember correctly, it never worked that great over cellular connection but didn't test that. I searched using the sender's email address or by a keyword in the subject line.

Sadly all is not well.

Here we go...
Did 10 SMS/MMS/Messages from 12ProMax, 11ProMax, IPP11, Razer, GalaxyS8, GalaxyNote10, Pixel4

On the iDevice side incoming to the 12ProMax:
Notifications: Failure for an SMS from the GalaxyS8 and Razer
Messages: One SMS from the GalaxyS8 failed to arrive

Side Note: just after I finished doing this test, I received two iMessage from my daughter. Notifications showed up only for the 12ProMax. Notifications failed on the 11ProMax and IPP11 though both received the iMessages.
See attached Home screenshots of the 11PM (Apple wp) and 12PM (scenic wp) - same setups (for testing)

I had to restore my phone cause my office 365 exchange stock email app stopped sending emails and had errors like it couldn’t find the server.

reset and restore fixed my issues
