M1 Macs will arrive later in the year, Called it no event

The fact that no invites went out today indicates that…wait for it…no invites went out today. That’s all. Apple has been trolling us for the last couple of years with beta dates, event dates, invite dates. If you think there is 100% certainty about anything, I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

Guys, is anyone experiencing a loss of swipe to answer for incoming calls?

when I get a call, I have only the tap to answer.
I’ve had that since the 14.0 betas first started. It’s carried across all the beta versions and the stable ones too. I’m currently on the 14.4.1 stable release and still see it. It’s very inconsistent, and has been since it started for me. It’s a crapshoot which screen will display for an incoming call (swipe to answer or Accept/Deny buttons). Thankfully it’s a purely cosmetic thing and you can answer an incoming call either way, just strange.

I think it (the bug) was likely introduced as part of the work done on implementing the call banner for when the phone is unlocked since that was a new feature for 14 and that’s when the inconsistency started. I’m sure they’ll get around to fixing it eventually 🙃

12 ProMax ...

Something to check.
After this update, I found in Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services - everything was turned on except Status Bar Icon.

Definitely different than beta 3 was setup for and has been a few betas since I have seen this "turn all on" issue.

Wow this beta has been the best on my battery life. First time I haven’t had to charge my phone for a full 24 hrs (iPhone SE [2020]).

My previous two major bugs were resolved (Apple ID needing log in after restart in settings, Appel Music skipping). Excellent and polished release, I’d say it is ready for the limelight!

Updated to the latest beta. I was on a FaceTime video call with my family and my wife messages me asking why I am FaceTiming her separately. She got a FaceTime video call from me which I didn’t initiate. Is this a random issue or a bug with this beta?

There’s iPhone FaceTime scams/spam going around apparently.

I am having some other random calling issues. I called someone(regular call) and they didn't pick up the phone. Then I got a call back for a quick second from the same number but seemed like they hung up. The call back doesn't show up in the call log. Totally weird. I did a hard reset and have to see if the issue is resolved.

Beta 3 was perfect for me. Can I downgrade to beta 3 without losing data?

This update caused me to have to reset and re-setup my HomePods so they’d again work as a stereo pair on my Apple TV 4K, as well as deconfiguring my Hue switches; they’re back to On-Bright-Dim-Off again and I can’t get them to be reprogrammed via the Home app.

I know, but I have found that whenever iOS beta and macOS beta are released together, it helps to have overlapping information in threads so that people know that the other beta was also released. Often times there are members who ask if macOS was released and what build number it is at now, so if someone has not posted it already before I do, I post that information.
Yea.. wrong thread/off topic. Theres a mac section of this website :)

Yes I have noticed that however I rebooted the iPhone and then the MagSafe and Sound began to work again and has not stopped working since. Try it.

The animation has been fixed on the latest beta. 👇😁

The worst modem firmware ever. On my iP12 MAX pRO I have 8-10 times slower speeds LTE then iPhone XS on T-mobile. 80-100mbps vs 8-15 mbps. Before I had 5G NSA, now it is disappeared. Such a step back. I know - this is beta.

EDIT: sorry for blaming Apple this T-mobile local network modernization or T-mobile carrier settings. Att works perfect.

I can't find the section you're indicating. Under "Privacy," I have Location Services, Tracking, a detailed list of functions and apps, and then Analytics and Advertising. No "System Services."
