iOS 14.5 ― Bug Fixes, Changes, and Improvements

Can someone with AirPods Pro confirm a bug for me.

1. Connect AirPods Pro
2. Accessibility > AirPods Pro > Noise Cancellation With One AirPod - ON
3. Settings > Bluetooth - OFF & ON

Did this disable the single AirPod Pro noise cancellation setting?

Sorry to say - but yes, it set the 'Noise Cancellation With One AirPodv' back to Off here...

Existed even in beta 3, it was from there I jumped of the beta train. It's so crazy that so many bugs still remains in RC. Now I will wait for iOS 14.5.1 or 15.

How about the watercolor-issue in stock camera?

Anyone who use Adguard Pro? When I used beta 3 of 14.5 the ad-filtering didn't work.

I started testing the Camera yesterday. Not seeing any improvement and actually seeing more instances where the OS is using digital zoom instead of the correct lens. 3rd party camera apps are not showing this issue.

As noted earlier, Apple has the ability to flag things on and off, so despite the build number being the same, there are things (like purple wallpaper) that are in this release.

Anyone on T-Mobile having issues where if you try to make a phone call while on 5G it steps down to edge, but if you hang up and try again it’s back on LTE/5G?

I’m on T-Mobile. I can’t use cellular data at all. But calls and texting are fine.
 
Didn’t use any of the betas, but have installed RC on my 12 Pro. Overall stable, generally happy.
One of the features I was looking forward to was reporting (accident, speed trap, etc) on Apple Maps / CarPlay, but can’t see any option to do so?
Is this not active yet? US only? I’m UK based…
 
Is anyone else getting this? Phone is laying flat and locked. When someone messages me my phone doesnt light up and show the message on the Lock Screen. It might correspond to when I’m using AirPods but I’m not sure.
