Books has a new setting to scroll vertically. It also has less padding and more text (which I don’t like) on my iPad, unless that’s a bug.

I don’t remember iOS Mail supporting multiple flag colors before!

View attachment 928930

It is there in iOS 13. However, the actual colour of the flag doesn’t transfer to another device.

For example, if I flagged the email with a blue flag on the iPad, if I then looked at Mail.app on my iPhone, although the email would show as being flagged, it would show the default red colour flag on the iPhone.

I’m not sure if that was a bug, or by design. (I’d have thought the intention of the feature would have been to sync the flag colour between devices.)

Out of interest, does the flag colour sync between iPhone and iPad on iOS 14?

The Met office app has flashed up some for Thunderstorms in the UK (due to the back end of a heatwave @ 33 degrees Celsius where I am!), but the Stock one didn't flag it up.
Well...I can now definitively say the severe weather alerts in the stock Weather app...are either not yet activated...or just do NOT work. Currently under a severe thunderstorm warning AND a flood advisory and there is nothing about either of them in the Weather app. I'm getting a Feedback report ready for it, but I'm also wondering if it's just something that hasn't been turned on yet. Maybe beta 2 will bring it along, who knows.

However, the graph that pops up to show rain intensity over the next hour has absolutely NAILED it when it comes to the timing! I'm really liking that feature so far!

I'm not getting the rain intensity thing on iOS 14, in Bracknell, UK...

I believe it's only in the US at the moment where the data is now being drawn from what was Dark Sky.

UK is still using the Weather Channel.

Did it say that in the release notes? Weird that they don’t do it for UK too, since we have Dark Sky running fine too....

A lot of mail systems don’t support colored flags. (Most, in fact). So it makes sense that it wouldn’t be propagated.

I’m not getting it in silicon valley, either, though I assumed that’s because there’s no legitimate chance of rain in the near future.

I assume you are joking, but you will only see that histogram if precipitation is forecast in the next 30-60 minutes.

Ahh, I missed that. I was tired when I read it. Saves me raising a bug for it then!
I‘d raise an issue with them anyways (suggestion maybe?) considering they killed Dark Sky which had the feature you‘re asking for available in your location.
Pretty lazy of Apple to once again only cater to the wild west for a year.

This one excites me! I got my original AirPods solely for LiveListen, which turned out to be somewhat disappointing. Hopefully this is better. And, of course, I “hear” about this while I am traveling and having forgotten my AirPods Pro at home for the first time ever....

I tested it out. Made a huge difference in sound. Definitely liked it better. But not convinced it sounded better both for speech (like calls) and music, so i turned it off for now. When it asked me “which sounds better,” for a lot of the choices i really had no opinion

Added to the first page, but didn't notice if it was mentioned in the thread already (read about it on Reddit).

I have Dark Sky, running, with the feature working there, so not sure what you mean....
